Ozzy replacing Zakk Wylde..and for a good reason.
He says his band is starting to sound too much like BLS.
He is right, Zakk just has that kind of style and sound that is instantly recognizable. I think its a good move for Ozzy to find someone else.
He is thinking of John 5 which would be a perfect fit!

Boy you hit the nail on the head about the pinch harmonics, Paul.
Out of spite and just plain goofiness, I'd like to compose something made up of nothing but "squealies" and call it "Zakkified"...sorta like Paul Gilbert's "Scarified."
Please don't get wrong, you lovers of Ozzy and BLS. I like Zakk...always admired his playing. It would just be sooooooo much fun to try.

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup!

Sounds like the first half of Blood Stained Bed Sheet Burden by It Dies Today. (Killer tune, BTW)RFBuck wrote:Boy you hit the nail on the head about the pinch harmonics, Paul.
