Witches in Bikinis

Post by oobie »

I turned the TV on last night and America's Got Talent was on and the Witches in Bikinis were the contestants? Were these the same ones from here in PA? Did anybody else catch it?

Pretty sure that band is not from PA.

I didn't see the show, but Witches In Bikinis are from New York (Brooklyn). They've played in PA several times in the past few years. Johnstown Folkfest was even looking at bringing them in before they changed to Flood City Music Festival.

Yeah, that was them.

It was probably good to get some exposure nationally, but a short one-song deal onstage doesn't really capture what they do...especially doing "Viva Las Vegas," which really isn't in the context of the type of music and routine they do.
