Dropping a replacement speaker into a bass cabinet is not as simple as dropping a replacement speaker into a guitar cabinet. Bass speakers are selected for the tuning of the cabs, and putting in a speaker that's not properly matched to the cab could result in severe ineffiency or speaker overexertion. Lonewolf's more knowledgable about the math and engineering that goes into that than I would be.
If nobody here is knowledgable about your cab and that speaker, you may want to ask on a pro-sound forum. The speaker could work better than the original driver, worse, or just the same. If you dig the sound of the original speaker, I would just get an OEM replacement.
Anyways, that's my .02 cents. LOL
