If the conservatives had their way, you know, let them survive on their own or collapse, we would just let ALL of them die off. The fact that there are still some open should make you applaud the Democrats. You fools !

I heard Limbaugh explain how most all of the ones closing were contributors to the Republicans. If you check, ALL of them did. So I'm happy to report that ALL of the ones staying open have contributed to the Republicans.

BTW Bush recently admitted that he knew that car manufactures were near collapse, but (yes, he said this) he decided to not do anything and hand it off to Obama. What a guy...

OK, I'm done and ... I'm just done.

Fools Huh, Obama threw Billions of dollars at Chrysler, why would you throw billions of dollars at Chrysler and then sell it to Fiat. They didn't fix anything with that money and didn't get any consessions from the labor union, billions of dollars just gone once the sale goes through.
Fiat, I don't think I've ever seen one. I hope they do well.

Hey GM sold Hummer to the Chinese, wait didn't they make our tanks? I guess we'll have to buy our tanks from the Chinese. Hey maybe Fiat (Jeep) will make them for us. Maybe Lord Obama will apologize to the Arabs and the North Koreans and every thing will be fine and we won't need tanks any more.

I may be buying ford for now on. I hate ford ... Oh well, atleast they didn't take any bailout money and give 2/3 of it to the unions. Screw Gm and Chrystler. As far as I am concerned, they don't exist anymore.

Ya know, the wife wants a minivan - Maybe I will get a honda odysey? they are nice ..

Union Labor Concessions:
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB124079160897657795.html

Research before you speak.

That's not the same Hummer as the one the military uses. Research before you speak.

Chrysler STILL EMPLOYS PEOPLE, and therefore it still employs it's suppliers. THAT'S WHY you do what it takes... Damn.

FOOLS, I just can't believe it .

I'm out of here. Can't reason with unreasonable people OR people who don't listen to BOTH sides of political spectrum. If you're stuck on Fox, you only get a one sided story. Same as those who only listen to MSNBC.

Open your minds and listen to both sides, then do some research, then present an argument that doesn't sound so much like repeated rhetoric.

And while you're knocking Obama. what exactly would you have prefered. Doing nothing, and then ALL of those JOBS are gone...forever?

Some jobs or NO jobs... I'll take some jobs. How about you ?

Maybe I sould have stated this different but I didn't. Maybe this will help.

Chrysler took the tax payer money, spent it, and then came back for more, the unions were not ready to negotiate untill they had no other choice. We could have saved ourselves BILLIONS of taxpayers dollars
by letting Chrysler go into bankruptcy in the first place.

I didn't know the Hummer Company GM sold to China is different than the tanks. My bad.

Sorry man. I just seem to go into attack mode.

I'm just saying I'm glad the glass is half full while others are POd that it's half empty. If it weren't for those billions IMHO the glass would be completely empty...forever.

Now...back on the wagon. :salut:

For the record, Tri-Star went belly-up on their own, it's too late for Chrysler to shut them down.
My only other points are that A) maybe Chrysler should have cut the fat a few years ago and they wouldn't be in bankruptcy, B) maybe if they made good cars cheap they'd have a bigger customer base ala the Japanese, and C) Almighty Reagan bailed Chrysler out once, and it was "pure capitalistic genius" when he did it.--->JMS
