It was my pup that was shot & the medical bills are def outrageous!! Neighbor shot our 18 month old rottie pup, Emmitt, while he was playing in our yard with my fiance!! Emmitt was in his own yard and gave the monster next door NO reason to shoot him not once but twice!! Emmitts front Right leg was amputated today!! We have no idea what the total vet bill will be, but i do know we had to pay $1300 for just Emmitts first night stay at Metzgers Animal Hospital in State College!! We are guessing our total bill will be well over $4000. Any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciatted!! Laws for Paws has already donated $200

Emmitt is a very gentle & loving dog!!! No animal deserves this!!

Saw it on the news. That is total Bullshit to shoot an animal without provocation. Did the animal bite, charge or anything? Whatever the case may be, if the DICK had a problem... should have talked with the owner. Must be some kind of a bitch though.

Hope your pup gets better. Sorry the chap had to lose a leg. Gimme the guy's address, maybe I can teach 'em some "gun control."

I heard about the story from friends in the area. Long and short of it,... It seems like this guy DEFINITELY has some kind of problem! Either way, it's quite a fucked up situation. Sorry to hear about your dog though. I hope he's alright otherwise :(

i can't even describe the anger i feel about this. who the F does that to a puppy????

i'm enraged, to say the least. if anyone tried to harm either of my two pups, i would likely get arrested for murdering the bastard who did it.

i hope he gets what's coming to him.

this is fucked up...I'm so sorry to hear about this; its a tragedy for any dog to go through this. I hope your puppy is alright. It's terrible that he had to lose a leg, but in the end, its better than what could have happened. I love Rotts, I think they're one of the sweetest, most lovable dog breeds ever and I hope that bastard gets whats coming to him. Anyone who could ever do something that inhumane to a puppy, let alone a full grown dog, should have their eyes gouged out and their dick cut off and fed to them.
I hate people...every day I hear things like this, I hate them a little bit more...

ALL I CAN REALLY SAY IS FIRST THINGS FIRST. KICK HIS ASS. IF I HAD TO FORK OUT ALMOST $4000.00 FOR A VET BILL BECAUSE SOMEONE SHOT MY ANIMAL I WOULD ALSO BE PAYING TEN TIMES THAT AMOUNT TO GET BAILED OUT OF JAIL. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS GUY THAT SHOT YOUR DOG. SOUNDS LIKE HE HAS SOME MENTAL ISSUE'S OF SOME SORT. MAYBE WE CAN PUT TOGETHER A SHOW SOMEWHERE AND HELP RAISE MONEY TO SUPPORT YOUR VET BILL AS WELL AS SUPPORTING OTHER ANIMALS. IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED LET ME KNOW!!

if you guys do a benefit show for the dog, Dick Shack Posse would be glad to take part, even if that means you just want us to bash the dudes kneecaps in with our guitars.
