Internet satelite...

Post by Naga »

Seems like everywhere I look, some company (or companies) is advertising about internet satelite/cable for $8-$10. I have a fair level of skepticism, but then I'll also admit some curiosity. Does anyone have any experience with any of this stuff? What's the deal?

there are packet losses with it. So it is not something you want to use if you are a gamer. Also, it is not compatible with some things ..

No, I mean like TV satelite... Flat $8-$10 fee is simple, but then what else is there to it? Ads? What?

I would imagine that any service that runs $8-10 a month is going to be equivalent to a dial up connection. I would be wary and make sure that if you do try it you are not committed to any long term shit.

Even the best Satellite ISP's are slow and very erratic.

Be skeptical, but hey who knows....
