SOLEGION signs worldwide record deal!

Post by JayBird »

It's official...SOLEGION signs with MORTAL MUSIC with distro through MVD DISTRO WORLDWIDE! Mortal Music is owed by Tim King of SOIL and Rob Such of TWELTH GATE. The band will be heading to Chicago, IL from July 11 - July 25 to record at DOPE FACTORY STUDIOS owned by Edsel Dope of DOPE. The album will be engineered by Justin Wilk (Staind, Plain White T's, Black Tide, Finger Eleven), produced by Tim King, and mixed and mastered by AJ Cavalier (singer of SOIL). The cd should be hitting stores (FYE, Target, Best Buy, Hot Topic, etc.) in early November.

That's great news! Maybe we'll hear Solegion back-to-back with Halestorm on the radio airwaves (and on Harddrive with Lou Brutus) sometime soon!

Keep your fingers crossed that they don't come out sounding like the Plain White T's. :D

then you better tell him not too, cuz I'll make a good bet that he hasn't even thought of that yet.

I had Nico come over the other day and jam around on my kit with my Soultones and he absolutely loved them. I gave him the owner's number and hopefully he will have new cymbals in time to record. I gave the owner a heads up on him and a real quick briefing on Solegion as well.
