The new Conan O'Brien show?

Post by EyesOfAnguishbassist »

Didn't get a chance to see it, probably won't catch it until Friday cuz during the week I hate staying up late due to work, but I was wondering if anybody wathced this last night and what did you think?

I always liked Conan more than any other Late Night show host so I'm pretty excited.

I have been much more of a Craig Ferguson fan but Conan's first show was okay. What I did like to see if that The Max Weinberg Seven with some additional players is the band. They are my favorite late night talk show band.

I wanted to record the first show on the DVR but forgot, and checked Hulu today and they have it. I haven't watched it yet but I'm going to.

Anything would be better than Leno. Worst comedian in the history of comedy, IMHO. His timing and delivery just plain old sucked. Stopped watching The Tonight Show when he took over. Bye-bye. Letterman should've gotten that gig when Carson retired. But I agree about Stewart and Colbert. Funny stuff. r:>)

I agree on Leno. I was never a huge fan. My dad says he's too much of a kiss-ass. I've always been a Conan fan, though. He has a chemistry with his guests that is very rare in that format. I didn't see the first episode, since I don't have cable at my place. I may have to check out Hulu, though.

What would really slam is if Andy Richter came back.

Andy is back. He's Conan's Ed McMahon/Paul Scheaffer, standing in the corner laughing. r:>)

I hope he doesn't have to tone down his jokes now that he's on the tonight show. I always liked Conan the best because he was edgy and he knows how to set up a great punchline.
