Dude if you really think that God has anything to do with someone getting shot then I really do feel a little bit sorry for you.

I agree with the post above and think that in order to completely take this is the right direction I have to say that the GOP party is made up of mostly older, white males that are completely out of touch with society.

The GOP party looks sort of like an Atlanta Country Club that I don't want to belong to...

I'm a little confused about what part of this is funny. That a man was shot and killed? That it was inside the church that he attended? That his wife was in the choir, probably watching, while it happened? I am honestly missing the humor in that. I am also missing even the irony in that, since it is definitely not my place to judge where someone stands with God (or any other supernatural being one does follow). A man lost his life and a family lost their husband/father/grandfather in a place that is supposed to be one of peace and tolerance. A "debate" (for lack of a better word) that had seen less physical violence in recent years is now showing violence. I'm really still not seeing the humor.

what difference does it make what he's in there for? The idea of someone so against the killing of babies that they will kill adults to prevent it is compltely ridiculous. First off killing is killing and for a doctor its about life not death so to go to church and play the christian and what ever religion or faith he is, knowing what he dose is wrong and yet he can sit their. i just found it ironic that he was shot in church.

Wow. A lot of conflict. Abortion arguments suck, but here's my personal opinion, anyway.

I'd say that the ONLY reason a late term abortion is ok is to save the life of the mother period. It's not for pregnant procrastinators. If you get an 8-9 month term abortion and your life is not at stake, you are a killer. Period. People who do that are terrible, they should not be shot, but they should be tried and sent to jail. Sad thing is, if the law protects the life of the mother in the third trimester, it also has to protect idiots who want to have an abortion done at the last minute.

I have to say though that it is SO stupid that this dude killed that doctor.
