EVK - Sweet Child

Post by tornandfrayed »

Just wanted to let you guys check out my kids, they have come a long way pretty quick. They will be playing their first show this coming Sundayy at the Benefit for Korbin Reed. They go on first at 1:00 or so..I hope some of you can attend..

This is a cover of "Sweet Child of Mine"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-34X7AMRn7A

I was comparing them to Halestorm's Youtube cover of the same song...

Stevie is 9 playing guitar with his cousin Evan. Chelsea is 13 playing drums and singing and our cousin Noelle is playing keys....

Man that's great, dude. Gives ya that feeling right there, don't it?? I like the little fella..that Strat looks so big on him, but he's still working it!!
Chelsea does a great job singing!! Playing drums and singing can be tough.
They all did a great job...hope they make you more proud this Sunday. It's stuff like that that makes lifetime memories.

AWESOME JOB!!!!! It's great to see the younger generation picking up real instruments instead of the Guitar Hero stuff-although I'm sure they have that mastered already, haha!! It is so cool to see these kids doing this, especially Stevie and Chelsea since I've known them for some time now, they are growing up fast!! I believe Stevie may have some thrash in his blood with the head bangin' I see him doing!!!!!! Fantastic job guys, see you on the 24th!!!!!! :D  :D

Wow dude! If I ever had kids and they learned any of those licks EVER, I'd be proud! They're seriously talented, at that age! I look forward to seeing them at the Benefit!

That made my day I enjoyed that very much, I had to watch a few others. Its great seeing people that young playing. Its great that they have enough attentiveness to even learn a song that much! I might just have to come up and see these guys this is very enjoyable props man. My boy is 3 1/2 as soon as he hits 4 im getting a drum set. That way father(bass) and son can practice together. Good way of bonding i think :D

That's awesome. I have been working with my son on his guitar.
He now knows 3 chords. D,Am, and C.
He has a great sense of rhythm too.
I can't wait till we can really jam together.

If I can't get someone to switch I might see if the side effects wanna do a short set.
