Hey man,

Congrats on the purchase! I've heard great things about those interfaces. Great gear can open up new creative avenues that you never realized were there before. When I got my RME, it was like getting my first USA fender. What a difference! I'm sure your experience with the motu will be the same! I wish you the best, man! Happy recording!

That seems like a nice piece of kit for the price. be sure to post back with your experience and impressions once its in hand.

Edit: after looking really close it appears like its cased in the same shell as an X2 XDR95. Be careful screwing the ears on if they weren't already attached...

Got the 8Pre today. Its all setup and sounds amazing. NO problems at all during install. Cant wait to use it in a band situation.
