Mixer effects help berhinger pmh5000 operator error?

Post by rickster »

I recently bought a used berhinger pmh5000 and am having trouble adding the effects.Anyone else familiar with this or a similar mixer?I can get the special effects bank to work, like the sound of "space radio", Old record popping noises and a test tone, But no delay ,chorus etc, unless im expecting more than there is?If you set the delay and talk into the mic there should be an echo right?

The special FX (noises) make sound by themselves without going thru any channels. It sounds like you have the FX turned on and the FX to the Main turned up, but you don't have the FX send turned up on the microphone channel.

Ha ! I got it.There are 2 effects faders for the main, and 2 effects mixers per channel , and 2 effects mixers per moniter and 2 effects levels per processor..sheesh, youd think that was overkill. Thanks Man.
