Halestorm on Sirius!

Post by JayBird »

Sirius/XM has been playing Halestorm quite a bit! They also have their first full length coming out. They were signed in 2005 and released an EP with Atlantic. After all this time, finally, they get to release that full length!

Yea, they're awesome. I haven't seen them live yet (Missed the 30 Something show), but I have their "One and Done" album. It rocks.

For XM I think it's either 43 or 48...whatever the rock station is. I know it's Octane 20 on Sirius.

I just got my own copy of Halestorm's CD today. I'm listening to what this band sounds like now, and thinking back to when I first heard them on the Don't Mess with the Time Man disc (when Lzzy was 15 and 12-year-old Arejay was riding the spinning drum kit) - what an evolution!

I'll be reviewing the new Halestorm CD on the "Homegrown Rocker" this Sunday (5/10).

After the "Homegrown Rocker" ended last night, I was finishing up things in the studio and listening to the show that follows the "Rocker," nationally-syndicated program "Harddrive." I sat up when I heard host Lou Brutus mention that Shinedown was out on the road with Halestorm, and Lou then remarked that he had a crush on Lzzy Hale. Clearly Halestorm is now on the national radar!

They started out from Bethel (just north of Lebanon); they're now headquartered in the Red Lion/York area.

Lou Brutus interviewed Lzzy Hale on this week's edition of Harddrive, and played the first single off the CD, "I Get Off." Halestorm gets national airplay on a syndicated show - too cool!
