In an interview that I read on some guitar mag, the writer was asking Duane Allman all about the great musicians he played with as a studio musician and of course with Eric Clapton on the Layla album. He then asked Duane who he liked jamming with the most. Duane said his band, The Allman Brothers Band. That is what makes them great. He would rather jam with his own band than anyone else.
