Favorite Wings

Post by byndrsn »

Okay, sparked from the topic in General Discussion - what are your favorite wings?? (Mine of course are Butter Garlic - just like the popcorn thread - why bother if I'm not covered in butter from fingertip to elbow)

Cajun - however, I hardly ever order them because I don't want to ruin them for myself.

I used to get Slow Burners at Shooters every Tuesday night, and then I just got sick of them, and now can't eat them anymore - which sucks!

So, I usually order Mild with a side of Ranch and veggies.

But cajun - hands down!

If you don't see your favorite flavor, don't blame me! The poll would only allow me to put on 15 options. I was going to include more flavor (i.e., plain, lemon pepper, pepper, beer battered, parmesan, grilled, and of course Urbs's Famous butter/worcestershire sauce, etc.)

I really had my hopes up when I found some frozen ones from Sam's Club. They were Tequila Lime flavored, and I'm a sucker for anything lime. They were actually terrible, so I'm not really sure why I even posted here!

Breaded and dipped in butter and garlic from The Phoenix in Johnstown. You have to order these special because they are not on the menu but they are great.

I like Old Bay wings, but for some reason I can't vote for them.
Pour me another one, cause I'll never find the silver lining in this cloud.

I agree that the hotter they are the
better they are. Try Fatty's Pub in
Altoona's Suicide wings for something
with a kick that still has some flavor.
And of course if you like them hot you
can always go to Cobrahs and get some
"Dabbers". If anyone knows of any other
amazingly hot wings in the Altoona area
please let me know.
