more tolerant of other religions AND the Koran tells them to be so.

I think what you're thinking of is that The Koran states that if a Muslim
dies fighting someone of another religion at war, they automatically go to
Heaven. This also doesn't mean that everyone who subscribes to the
religion holds to that. There are tons of things in the Bible people who
consider themselves Christians don't adhere.

I love how people try to act like The Crusades were the only time “Christians”
have butchered people. I worked several years side by side with many Muslim, Hindu and Buddhist grad students and professors (among others.) They were all friendly people, although Hindus can be a pain in the ass--only Brahman caste come here for education and they were brought up literally thinking they are God's gift. I saw to it that they were properly educated on that subject.

Odds are that a Muslim Rockpager or Muslim acquaintance of a Rockpager is a peace-loving citizen and probably well educated and/or well employed. Nice people just like my old friends and co-workers.

Flip the coin. If any of you know somebody who's been in maximum security prison for more than 5 years, ask them about Islam in the prison system. They have formed a community in every prison and have active convert recruitment. This has especially become a magnet for African-American inmates caught up in the system.

The prison imam will tell the warden, 60 Minutes and the press that prison Islam is the road to rehabilitation. If you ask a non-Muslim inmate who watched this on a daily basis, he will tell you that these people are being trained in radical fundamentalism. i'm atheist, so, yea, it really dosn't matter to me. if it were christians blowing themselves up for 72 virgins in an afterlife, i'd be just as afraid of them. if it were jews preaching "death to the infidel" i'd be as scared of them. you seem to think i am knocking the muslim faith. i'm not. unless the said faith is being used as an excuse to kill people, and cause major attacks on other nations. it is. you can say the christians are terrible, you can say the jews are too, i don't care because they are not using religion at this point in time as a reason to blow themselves up, and kill as many non-believers as possible.
