WTF is wrong with ppl???!!

I'm still in disbelief of this and have no idea how anyone could let this happen let alone actually do these things. These kids need a lot of help, i also posted about a benefit show in the benefits forum....this issue needs as much attention as we can can give it.
I just got off of the phone with a family member of the kids and found out some more info. I will be posting more soon. thanks

ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY --- Altoona police found disturbing evidence in the investigation of an abused toddler.

Police found more than 40 bloody items in the toddler's home at
1939 West Chestnut Avenue
. They range from sippy cups covered in blood and vomit to blood stained wooden trim in the home.

Emilee Brogden, 19, is the child's mother. She and her boyfriend Ryan Brothers, 22, are in the Blair County Jail on charges related to the alleged beating.
Police found the three-year-old boy beaten and in severe pain this past weekend at the home. Brogden said Brothers was watching the boy while she was at the hospital with her two year-old son. Doctors said that child was being treated for a ruptured eardrum. They believe that injury was caused by abuse.

One of the detectives on the case said the three-year-old is doing better at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh. He had emergency surgery earlier this week, and he's still in critical condition. Police said he has life threatening injuries to his pancreas and small intestine.

He's got severe burns on his face and the rest of his body. Doctors said there are bite marks on the boy's arms and genitals.

Police found bloody towels, children's underwear, clothing and blankets in the home. They also discovered sippy cups and pillows covered in blood and vomit. They also found blood stains on parts of the home's walls and drug paraphernalia.

Doctors believe both children were abused over a period of time. Police said Blair County Child and Youth Services has custody of both children.

Rug- I know that fucking piece of shit Ryan. He's been a fuckup as long as I've known him. The kid didn't have a great upbringing, but who did.
Any help you need to do a benefit for this boy or to raise awareness to stop this kind of shit let me know. My daughter had a fever 2 days ago from getting immunization shots and I was freakin out calling everyone. Seeing her cry when she got her shots was bad enough. I wished I could endure the pain for her. These people are shit. I don't know that girl, but I don't want to either. Are there family members who will step in and take care of these boys?

Believe me, they'll get theirs once they're in jail. Inmates don't care for child abusers or molesters...they tar the shit out of them every chance they get. They'll have to be kept separate from everyone else and under constant surveillance if not.

Can't imagine how anyone could do this to a child. Nothing pisses me off more than child abuse. And we're not talking about a swat on the ass to make them aware of behavior. Bites to the torso and genitals. These people need the chair as far as I'm concerned. They should be sterilized with a branding iron. On another note I hope your little one in better Brian. I hate seeing my kids in pain or sick too. B

Except, I'm fine with a much worse punishment (several years of prison?, execution?) when someone repeatedly harms a defenseless child.

I don't care if these kids (parents) had a bad upbringing themselves - when you have you're own children - you're supposed to try and give them a BETTER life than you had, not the same or worse.

I think we've found something everyone can agree on!
These pieces of excrement deserve nothing less than the most painful death. Some of us would have wanted nothing more than to shower a child with affection and protection, but were never blessed as such. Sometimes I think my music has simply been a lame replacement for the family I'll never have. I think I would have been an excellent father, and I rankle in jealousy when a little guy runs to his dad for whatever little reason. To know that some so-called parents could hurt their own kids in such ways, it's hard for me to even form the thought in my mind.
Note to the Blair County Courts: Let the punishment be as brutal as the crime. Let it be physically painful, long in term, and as public as possible. Send a message, for once. Make them an example, and rain the fires of hell on these two pathetic excuses for "parents." Especially for him, simply keep him in general population in prison, and have him wear a sign stating his crime (completely constitutional, once common). Prison justice is as close as we'll ever come to the punishment fitting the crime. I want him to feel what it's like to have no control over the atrocities happening to him.
