As with most things, it should be up to the individual states to decide whether its legal or not. De facto, that's the way it is--see Alaska & California. The federal authorities only bother with the acts of transporting weed across international and state lines, or the possession resulting from it. When was the last time you heard of the DEA doing a sweep thru Altoona or Johnstown?

This is not a federal issue. If you want to legalize pot, talk to your state representatives. Anybody who proposes a federal law on either side of this issue that affects ordinary citizens or the states' rights to decide is in direct conflict with the Constitution of the United States.

Its almost hard to believe that when watching the fantastic answers given by Ron Paul, how did he not get more votes. He gives rational answers, not political or religious, but well thought out policy based on the Constitution.

If only Ron Paul was elected president, we might have a chance to make it a few more years.
