No matter how bad anyone dislikes Bush, they cannot justify voting for someone like John Kerry.

Hey Rob, go to my novel like posts on the "Support your Candidate" thread, there are all my reasons for disliking Bush, Im not saying I like Kerry all that much, but I like him a hell of a lot more than Bush. I have a STRONG political opinion so therefore I cannot justify doing all the bitching I do about the Bush administration and then not voting against them. Nader=Joke, bottom line there, that guy is an egotistical attention hound with a little too much money. He's against Bush, which is a plus in my book, but the jackass goes ahead and basically steals votes from Kerry by getting his lame ass on the ballot!!!! He know's he'll never see the White House so why impede Kerry's victory???!!!!! ATTENTION! PERIOD. Enough said, where's my blood pressure pills..... :x

I'm going to laugh so bad when all those people that want Bush out of office see what Kerry will be like once he is elected.

Funny how GWB has stated "God" and "My religious beliefs" as if he has a strong religious background.

I thought the First Commandment is "Thou shalt not kill"

Not much room for interpretation there.

amen rob...

torn... most wars were fought for one religious reason or another...

do you suggest that during WWII allied countries should have let hitler etc do whatever he wanted because if we killed him/his troops we would violate a commandment?

This thread isn't about George W. Bush's convictions. Whether you agree with the president or not, at least you know exactly where he stands on this or any issue. Like it or not, war is the process of blowing things up and killing people. You know, like the World Trade Center.

This thread is about John Kerry. The problem with Kerry on this and many other issues is that I CAN'T TELL IF I AGREE WITH HIM OR NOT. All I can tell is that he doesn't need a weatherman to tell him which way the wind blows.

Torn,
If you want to talk about "thou shall not kill" - then maybe you should first take a look at this:

That still gives me chills. Anytime I see it, it's a reminding jab. Also, when I hear the Star Spangled Banner. A mixed feeling of wanting to weep, shivers, and pride. Bush is doing a good job. Let him finish what he started overseas so that those idiots can be taken down and our Boys can come back home to us all.
Somehow I doubt I'll have that same feeling for my country if a man like Kerry is elected. I don't mean to knock the man, but even looking at him makes me think he looks like a weasil. I'd rather have a bull dog that people are afraid of that may or may not bite you, than a weasil that only sneaks around in charge of my nation. You can quote me on that.

It will soon be time for the debates. I wonder if John Kerry is any good, or will Bush reduce him to a blabbering idiot like he did with Algore. GWB has never lost a debate and my observation of Kerry is that he isn't even close to being an intellectual--he just sounds smart with that New England accent.

I feel sorry for all you Bush supporters. You'd rather have a liar and a killer in office than a man who's been accused of what, changing his mind? I mean come on, he did not even get the poplular vote and he's responsible for the deaths of many, many Americans. Is America heading for dictatorship? I, for one, am scared shitless of what may become of our great country if we keep this bumbling idiot in the white house. But hey, who am I? Someone who's going to be voting for kerry, that's who, and there's a lot of us.

Freedom isn't free, it's been taken from us at a very high price for the last 4 years by the man who stole the election. Let's get rid of him and start rebuilding America's credibility and integrety.

So - let me ask you then - is abortion ok because it's not killing but choosing? At least George Bush has the guts to stand up for the innocents who are killed every day. The Democratic Party embraces Pro-Choice advocacy. I think killing animal terrorists like the ones who slaughtered the children in Russia is just. Killing a child in utero is not.
Does Kerry talk about his belief in God? Of course. But what God believes in the killing of children, whether by the terrorist hand or the abortionist's?

I don't mind if someone changes their mind, but on every issue? What I look for in a leader is confidence and the ablility to stand up for what he believes....John Kerry doesn't know what the hell he believes. It takes a strong leader to do what is right, instead of worrying about votes. If it weren't for the Iraq thing, Bush would be ahead of Kerry by 30%. But Bush didn't really care, he did what is the best for the world, knowing that he would recieve harsh critisicm. Well actually, Kerry made a better claim to go after Saddam than Bush did in '03. Well, but you know, what's past is behind us now and has no relevance...that's why Kerry keeps talking about the futre....well there will be no future if we let off on terrorism. You wanna see what terrorists do? Just go here http://consumptionjunction.com/content/ ... ge=1&fav=0 this is what terrorists do....beware though, it is very extremely disturbing!

A man enters the bar, orders a drink, a robot serves him a perfectly prepared cocktail, then asks him, "What's your IQ?"

The man replies, "150." And the robot proceeds to make conversation about Quantum physics, string theory, atomic chemistry, and so on.

The customer is very impressed and thinks, "This is really cool." But he decides to test the robot. He walks out of the bar, turns around, and comes back in for another drink. Again, the robot serves him the drink and asks him, "What's your IQ?"

The man responds, "100." And immediately the robot starts talking, but this time, about football, baseball, cheerleaders, and so on.

Really impressed, the man leaves the bar and decides to give the robot one more test. He goes back in, the robot serves him and asks, "What's your IQ?"

The man replies, "50." And the robot says, "So, your gonna vote for John Kerry?"
