Support your canidate!!

Post by byndrsn »

There are less than three months until the election, an election that will decide the next President of the United States. The man elected will be the President of all Americans, not just the Democrats or the Republicans.

To show our solidarity as Americans, let's all get together and show each other our support for the candidate of our choice. It's time that we all came together, Democrats and Republicans alike.

If you support the policies and character of President George W. Bush, please drive with your headlights on during the day.

If you support John Kerry, please drive with your headlights off at night.

I am neither a democrat nor republican, but I will definitely vote for George Bush.

Why, because his decisions and approach to dealing with thugs and terrorists are exactly the ones I would have made if I were in his shoes.

Is he perfect? Of course not.. But there is one thing that he is NOT..

He is NOT a PUSSY !!

Go George !!!

Bush in '04!!!

We don't want that flip-flop, war criminal, terrorist appeazer, far left-wing, tax raising, socialist democrat in office as well as his ambulance chasing, insurance raising douche bag Edwards either.

Seriously though, What did Bush do that's so bad? I mean come on!

This is amazing!

This small microcasm of our society cannot agree to even disagree.

As long as we are divided we are weak, as long as we believe that we must do as we are told we are weak. A house divided...

Neither of these candidate deserves your vote or your dedication. The country is run by an elitist group that does not give a shit about you or me. The fact that anyone can show so much dedication to a person that they do not even know is scary.

We are the people. As long as we squabble among ourselves then we cannot come together. As long as we are dedcated to competition to attain the scrapes that we believe we need we cannot come together.

As long as we cannot come together we are divided. We shall continue to have two elitist groups to choose from. There is something inherently flawed with each of these candidates.

GWB speaks for and represents big business.

John Kerry speaks for and represents the wealthy elite.

I don't have a candidate that represents me.

I do too. Its sad. But, what does G.W. Bush have to do with SKF consolidating the operations of several plants? Unfortunately this happens all the time and SKF is doing it all over North America.

Would it have made a difference if they consolidated these plants at their Chicago plant?

What could he have done to stop it?

You have been misinformed....just because of what you see with businesses doesn't mean that was Bush's fault. Jobs are way up actually, and unemployment is down. The economy is doing great, even after what Bush has been put through. As for jobs leaving to other countries? That's not the President's fault. Your hero Clinton singed the NAFTA free trade agreement...That's all the dems do, screw it up and then wait to blame the Republican when he's in office once the dem's actions finally take effect. Tax cuts work, and don't give me the "it's only for the top 2 percent" BS either. The top 2 percent in this country pay most of the damn taxes as it is...The big thing is education, Bush is pushing hard for education...that's the key to the economy.

Have a look at the timeline of what happened economically since we first heard about G.W.Bush:

04/XX/92 Total M2 money supply of the U.S.A. crosses $3.419 Trillion
02/06/00 NASDAQ overall market capitalization peaks at $6.481 Trillion
03/09/00 McCain concedes to Bush
03/10/00 NASDAQ hits all time high at 5049, market cap $6.236 Trillion
05/23/00 NASDAQ pullback to 3165, down 37% from high
08/03/00 Bush accepts republican nomination
11/07/00 Bush elected
01/02/01 NASDAQ pullback to 2292, down 55% from high, market cap $2.871 Trillion, $3.419 Trillion vaporized.
01/20/01 Bush inaugural
02/26/01 Bush 1st full cabinet meeting
03/XX/01 Recession officially begins (welcome to the oval office, Mr. President)
04/04/01 NASDAQ pullback to 1638, down 68% from high
09/11/01
09/21/01 NASDAQ pullback to 1423, down 72% from high
10/31/01 Last day of Clinton 2001 fiscal budget
11/01/01 First day of Bush 2002 fiscal budget
11/XX/01 Recession officially ends in November
10/09/02 NASDAQ finally bottoms at 1114, down 78% from high

In the year before Bush took office, the NASDAQ alone lost as much market cap as the U.S.A. had total money in April of 1992. This doesn't even include losses from the NYSE and AMEX. That "vaporized" capital alone should have driven the U.S. into a lengthy depression with unemployment in double digits. It didn't. Today's economy is a pure miracle, and whoever gets elected in November will smell like a rose in 2008.

I agree Rob, actually I was just thinking that today......It would be an awesome time for the rat to try to seal his re-election. What would be better than that? Capturing Bin Laden just before the elections, perfect. Thay way he wont have to weasel his way by with a few votes like he did last time, it would be a landslide right? Well, daddy knows people so it really doesn't matter. By the way, I watched some of the RNC and to be perfectly honest with you, it made me want to puke. The Republicans did an excellent job bashing the Dems and telling blatant lies. Guess thats all you can do when you have nothing positive to talk about eh? Did anyone catch the news about the 1000 protestors held in jail for an extended period of time so the convention wasn't interrupted? and how the taxpayers now have to foot the bill for the fines imposed for incarcerrating them for that long? What about the 17% taxhike on Medicare that was just passed? Well, can't really question that I guess, mommy and daddy Bush aren't affected by that so who cares. The "Token" speaker the "Governator" did an outstanding job reading his script like many fine actors do, only thing wrong were the facts, minor oversight for the mighty Republicans though, his reps mulled those lies over for him. (see countless newspaper stories and visit Cnn.com or msn.com for details) I've sat back and watched all these threads on how Bush is almighty, Kerry is dirt, blah. blah, blah. The bottom line is this...If you think this country is going in the right direction, vote Bush, if you think it's time for change, vote Kerry. If you like neither, quit your bitching and don't vote at all. God help us.

I can't help but cringe when I read some of these pro-Bush posts. Rob, you're a good man and I like you, but God brother, please do some valid re-search before you go cannonizing Bush and his administration and praising what they do. Lets take a minute here and highlight some of Bush's accomplishments as president: Bush's tax cuts overwhelmingly favor the wealthy. The top 1% will save more than $30,000 per year while 31% save nothing at all. Source: Citizens for Tax Justice and AFL/CIO. The nation faces a record $500 billion deficit. The biggest cause of the deficit is Bush's tax cuts. Source: www.govexec.com. The Bush Administration is systematically turning back 30 years of environmental progress. Source: Sierra Club. President Bush is under-funding education with the smallest percentage increase in funding in eight years! DID YOU READ THAT!!! UNDERFUNDING!!! How in the hell is he supporting education???!! Source: Committee on Education and the Workforce. 2.9 million jobs have been lost under the Bush Administration. Where on earth did anyone get that he's creating jobs? Bush misled the public about the reasons for going to war with Iraq. everyone knows that no weapons of mass destruction have been found, and he has the nerve to make lite of the situation and joke about it? Bush's Medicare bill helps corporations, not the elderly. 43.6 million U.S. citizens do not have health care!! The Medicare Premium just went up 17% as of today. Halliburton, the company where Vice President Dick "head" Cheney was CEO, was given multi-billion dollar contracts in Iraq without competitive bidding. Pentagon officials found that Halliburton overcharged the U.S. government by $61 million for gasoline in Iraq. Bush has tried to roll back more than 200 of America 's environmental laws. The United States emits more greenhouse gases than any other country. 37% of Americans disapprove of Bush's handling of the situation with Iraq. 95% of Army Reserve Soldiers in Iraq and other Middle East bases are experiencing significant pay problems. Not to mention that this year's deficit will be the biggest in U.S. history. Record for most bankruptcies filed in a single year (1.57 million) set in 2002. Ah yes, lets talk a little about the "Compassionate Conservative" platform used at the Republican National Convention..........Bush: First president to execute a federal prisoner in the last 40 years. Bush: 8 days after that first execution, a second federal prisoner was executed. Bush:#1 – As governor of Texas , executed more prisoners (152) than any governor in modern U.S. history. Real compassionate eh? And Rob my man, you say Unemployment is down? 2.4 million Americans lost their jobs during the first two and half years of the Bush administration!!! And don't say it was the ill effects of the Clinton administration because 9 million workers were unemployed as of September 2003! The Bush administration is well on its way to being the first since Herbert Hoover's to preside over an overall loss of jobs during its complete term in office. Lets not focus on how he's helping the rich, but how he's abusing the poor. 43.6 million Americans are without health insurance as of 2002. $300 million cut in December 2002 from the federal program that provides subsidies to poor families so they can heat their homes during the winter. Set a record in 2003, for most residential real-estate foreclosures in a one-quarter period. 1.6% increase in economic growth since Bush took office, the slowest rate of increase over an equivalent period for any administration in 50 years. Im not sure what people look for in a commander in chief, but if this is acceptable to you and you think this guy is "doing a great job", please think long and hard about your future and the general well being of those you care about. God Bless America.
