A lack of response when the neo's call for it doesn't constitute approval. It constitutes a lack of desire to play the neo game. I've said several times here that throwing money at the economy won't help, but you guys pick out the stuff you want, and ignore the rest, which is pretty standard procedure out on the fringe.
My little job here is to make sure the neo's don't try to give George W. Bush a pass for putting us where we are. Oh, there's blame for everyone from the Dems who allowed the Bush-pilots to walk all over them for several years, to the conservative press who hammered public opinion, to the very people who voted for the second term (how'd that work out for ya?)... BUT... the Bushies tripped on their peckers at nearly every step, and most of us still remember that. We voted him and everyone like him out, like we should have. THERE'S your change, right there.
As for Reagan... the similarities to Obama are amazing. Both swept to the presidency as their parties' saviours. Obama gave the same speeches over and over as a community organizer, Reagan gave the same speeches over and over on the speaking circuit for General Electric. Both called for massive change. Both used the far wings of their respective parties to great effect. Both claim to be from humble backgrounds, yet neither really was. Both have/had a segment of society they cared more about (Obama: lower classes; Reagan; higher classes). Both spend money like a trophy wife. BUT: it's okay for Reagan to spend, he was a conservative. You guys should practice what you preach. --->JMS

Its a shame that a majority of republicans and other conservatives seem to disagree with you. They wanted only to stay the course Bush laid, not actually fix anything.
Ron Paul was the first candidate I've ever gave two true shits about whether he won or lost. I gave up after he lost.

Actually, you are dead wrong on this one Johnny. Bush actually tried to pre-empt this mess as far back as 2003 but was stonewalled by our real problem...Congress:
''These two entities -- Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac -- are not facing any kind of financial crisis,'' said Representative Barney Frank of Massachusetts, the ranking Democrat on the Financial Services Committee. ''The more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing.''
Representative Melvin L. Watt, Democrat of North Carolina, agreed.
''I don't see much other than a shell game going on here, moving something from one agency to another and in the process weakening the bargaining power of poorer families and their ability to get affordable housing,'' Mr. Watt said.
...Oh, the freedom of the day that yielded to no rule or time...

Sorry John but i think you swatting at flys with this one.You can make your silly comparison of Reagan and Obama but the truth is undeniable.Reagan wanted America to progress and be the world's premier superpowrer to spread freedom and liberty throughout the world.Barry simply wants us to stand still, regress if you will, and wait for the rest of the world to catch up.
