Clarks on Letterman!

Post by JayBird »

The good ol IUP boys will be on Letterman tonight. Even if you aren't a Clarks fan, you still have to be happy that some local boys are getting their well deserved dues!

It's good to see The Clarks getting some attention. They've been "do-it-yourself" since Day One, and have kept the faith through thick and thin. The Clarks also prove that you can succeed in the music business without a major label record deal; they're bigger and more successful now than when they were when they were with a label!

I applaud any band that does well without major label support. I'm hoping that major labels will become obselete within that next ten years.

Big fan of The Clarks. Ask a Stranger opened up for them years ago and they were super cool. I saw them agian just last year and they were just as cool as eleven years ago. No rock star attitudes. No line up changes. No fads. The Letterman performance was great. They must have brought a big crowd with them 'cause before Dave could finish their introduction, they were getting a huge ovation. Huzzha for The Clarks!!
