HELP

This is Jason from the band CYPHIN. I was wanting to know if anyone out there would be interested in doing maybe a benefit show for my wife and I. I hate to ask anyone about this cause It makes me feel like shit,but our trailer just burned on Monday night and we are kinda what you would call homeless. The redcross put us in a hotel for three days but thats already come and gone. We also have three children,ages (3) (2) and a baby that is only 10 month's. We are able to stay with a friend for the next couple days but after that we don't no where to turn. I no there is alot of good people out there some where that might be willing to help. We lost almost all of our one daughter's clothing. And some of our own. Mostly everything else has smoke damage. And to even sound more like a bumb I am currenlty unemployed so thats another thing killing me right now. I really don't no where to turn to. So I am asking someone out there for help. If anyone would like to do this for a good cause , believe me I don't no how I would thank you. Please let me no If you would be interested in helping my family. Jason, Im glad you and your family are ok, thats what were here for. I will see about getting the Railroad museum for a date in a week or two. Im sure all the bands here, or some will want to help. You have nowhere to turn and this is the right place. If we cant help a fellow musician out whos down on his luck then who can we.

I would also like to help out if possible. If I can make it to the show, then Ill donate my bass rig for the night. If I cant make it (even if I can go), Ill give a donation.

I am truly sorry to hear about your tragedy. However I may be able to help you find housing in your time of need right now. I work for IDA and we rent apartments to families.

My work # is 946-1515 and I will be in Monday morning at 9:00am... at this time we have a 2 bedroom ($370/month - all utilities included) and a 3 bedroom ($462/month - all utilities included) - give me a call, just ask for Lisa and I'll see if I can at least get your family a place to live!

I just wanted to say thanks once again. I will be forever greatful. For those out there that wanted the children's clothes sizes. They are (Boy Size 12 Month)(and the girls sizes are 3T and 2T. I'd help out in any way I could. I'm bandless right now but my acoustic act (the 4 of us) would come out and play. I would be willing to DJ anytime of the day or in between the bands sets. Hope this is on a Friday. I'd be available on a Saturday until about 7:00 p.m. Then I have to go run sound at the Castle Pub.

You can cound Kenny and I in to help with whatever we can. Also, we have 2 night spot reports coming to us from Q-94 and you're more than willing to have one of them to advertise the event. Tragedy sux and it's great to see that musicians on this forum will come together and help. Something else that might help out, especially with something like this, is there any way the bands could donate 10% of their earnings the week of the event if they can't make it out to play at it? When you break that amount down, it's very little each member has to pay and I think it would help their family out tremendously. Just an idea.
