Wow! I am not sure how I feel about that one. It's kinda scarey. What happpens to confidentiality between Doctor and patient and medical history record privacy? I know all that goes out the window if you confess to a serious crime, but drinking beer isn't illegal. Hmmmmmmmmmmm? :?:

Geez!!! I'd better watch myself. If my doctor finds out how much I drink, he may have to put me down!!

I read about that a while back. I was blown away. I also questioned the dr/patient privilage but the report I read said that the said does mandate it and some other states prefer dr. turn them in but it's not mandated. Just think how many ppl would be losing their licenses. They article I read stated that the man had been convicted of a DUI at age 21 or so and has never had a driving offense since....he drinks at home and doesn't go anywhere else...but apparently he's the one everyone's worried about killing someone instead of the ppl that do go out and get trashed and ATTEMPT to drive home.

I undertstand the whole state mandate.... I can even understand that this guy got hooked up with an anal retentive, no life outside of the practice, lived my life with mom because I have no friends prick that feels compelled to follow the law to the letter. But... for a judge to uphold the suspension based on one man's opinion, although it's his professional medical opinioin, is nuts! Why not get another opinion from a physician unrelated to the court or the patient?

The only thing this will accomplish is secrecy between the Dr. and patient.... noone is gonna give this information without thinking anymore and someone with a real problem will end up being over looked.

I wonder if the particular doctor saw a decline in patients since this? And you know that noone is gona tell him the truth now if they drink a few beers a day. Just another dogooder pain in the ass.

It doesn't end !! I mean look around , everyday we see our government local and federal infringing on our rights, 1 by 1 we lose our ability to manage our own lives.

Dontcha remember in the 3 Stooges when the "leading man" would insult them by calling them morons or something like that and Curly would reply (as only Curly could):

"(hi pitch MMMMMMM)...I rep-resent that statement".

Two wheels, four wheels, just as long as the speedometer registers at least 140mph. The Z3 checks in at 155. Besides, we've been having a lot of rain lately.....

Here's the company that owns the company that makes the implantable chips that can be tracked by satellite. They're already doing it with animals. The chips were originally developed to contain medical records, but you know how that goes. Their stock is near an all time low. It might be a buying opportunity, but usually its just another pump & dump:
