Hell Im willing to Show for your Gutiar Hero Gig if you do. You have my word. What a lot of you dont know is the back story of my feelings on the issue. I Love Music. The abilty to play is someting I take to heart. The problem is that there are not a lot of places that promote live music. Jp and rockpage have given us a gift to promote music. When i read his post i was upset due to the fact that i felt as if a line was crossed in regards to this. I trully was and in my own way sticking up for what i thought the true spirt of this page was. For my trouble Ive been made fun of, My musical abilty put into question. and really taken a lot of shit. So many of you made very good points about this issue. It's cool to see this page come together. So Alfred the balls in your court.

10 PM start time. If you're into Sabbath, and you know Paranoid, we do that. Hell, just come check out the set list. Myself, I'd like to meet you. This has been an entertaining topic for me.

When you actually know how to play and "feel" music, it can be real difficult. Maybe it could help with internalizing polyrythmns. I don't know. :?
I actually play and Guitar Hero isn't difficult for me. Guess that makes me special.

Voices in his head??? AHHHH...now I'm starting to understand. I always wondered why he wanders around mumbling to himself.

The fun convos about GH and RB......

everyone knows all the difference between a video game and the real thing ( well... considering GTA... "most" people know the difference) =\

Now I for one - cant play a real guitar or drums or bass or sing.... But I can play a game where you can play guitar, bass, or drums.. ( still cant sing on a game... hah)... can I play expert mode? Nope... can I play hard mode? lol Nope.... Expert mode - Metallica - Battery = Sure I can play that, if I put the "No Fail" option on and get a 29% :D

Not everyone has the exact hand coord to play a "real" instrument, hell even a fake one at that... Its a fun game... and thats pretty much all it is... Its even more fun after drinking tequila and beer...

But yeah, everyone all has their opinions about reality and games... some bars bring it in for people to have fun and enjoy themselves and get more business... usually when theres no bands..

How many times have you played a gig, where there was no crowd watching you, but watching GH or RB instead? or how many times did GH or RB replace you?

and as for this comment:
bassist_25 wrote: But most of us can agree that DJs are evil and that kareoke is at least annoying as fuck.
Not "ALL" DJs are evil ( or atleast specify what "type" of DJ's your refering to)

But otherwise - yes karaoke is annoying...

And oh yeah... we have RB and RB2...(mic, guitar, bass, drums)

And I got a 100% playing Metallica - Ride the lightning on drums on Easy mode !!!!
(Haha!!)
