Anyone else order from Sweetwater ?
After dealing with musicians friend for years I finally realized last year that they are completely worthless and don't give a shit about their customers.
Then I ordered from Sweetwater............ Man what a difference, you are assigned a particular salesman, he'll actually give you a call if there is a problem with the order !!!! If an item is not in stock they will check and call you back as to when it is expected ( not give you a bullshit answer ). When the salesman I had left his replacement called me personally to introduce himself. Your order comes well packaged with plenty of packaging material. And you even get a couple pieces of candy in the box with your order.
I highly recomend them.

Don't bitch to me about the economy while you're still buying Chinese products.

I ordered effects from them. Very fast service and very friendly. One guy calls me about 3 times a year. Must keep good record of you because he remembers the bands name, my name, and what I play. His name is Chris. He is a musician too and always checks to see if we need anything and checks in on us....Great people! Personal service!

I've been using Sweetwater for about 15 years now. Mostly with keyboard & studio stuff. There is no place more customer-friendly on the web. I've had the same salesman for 8 years now.
Free shipping! Even on strings!
Get on their mailing list. They print the best collectible pro equipment catalog you will find. They print one right after Winter NAMM and a supplement after Summer NAMM. I have them going back to the mid-90s. They only send 1 copy each to you per year.
They also send out a quarterly flyer called "Sweet Notes" with new equipment updates and demo reviews. Also collectible.

I'm checking out the Sweetwater website now.
http://www.sweetwater.com/
I have been very happy dealing with Musician's Friend but I guess I have been fortunate because I have heard problems from other people.
I had major troubles buying from Music 123 and will never buy from them or recommend them to anybody. Horrible sales people, horrible service, and lots of lying. I won't go into all the details but it was a very bad experience dealing with Music 123 and my son opened an empty guitar case for Christmas one year with no guitar, which arrived seven months later after chasing them numerous times.

I wonder if their site is up to date cause I just looked at the left handed guitars and they have the Epiphone LesPaul custom priced at $664 and it's now $816 every where else?
Also they have a lefty Gibson SG Faded and that has been out of production for atleast 2 years last I checked.
hmmm
Music123 - $814.00

Sweetwater - $664.00

I never ordered from Sweetwater, but I believe my father has. Generally, I like to order from Zzounds whenever possible. It's much less of a hassle, since I don't have to have an account like I do with Musiciansfriend (I'm always forgetting my password and log in name). Plus, since they're close, delivery time is a snap.

I buy from sweetwater often. nice people, sometimes they call occasionally to see if i "need" anything. For some reason I'm not really into that, it kind of bothers me... im not sure why.
Once a year a get a small supplement book from them called "sweetwater select" or something where there is nothing priced under like $2k. Nice to look at though, dont know why they even bother sending it.
For cheaper stuff I need in a hurry like cables etc. its usually zzounds cuz it gets here in a day or two.
