Was the Robert Carolus II, 38, from Alexandria that was listed in today's Altoona Mirror that sideswiped the tractor trailer Monday morning on Rte 453 Bad Daze Rob? Is he okay?

I was going to send this in a PM, but I figured I might as well post it before it balloons on Rockpage...

Thank you for your concern. Yes, it was our Rob who was in an accident coming home Sunday evening/Monday morning. Luckily, he is alright. The most damage is to his car and his pride. As some of you may know, Rob has been going through some very difficult times these last couple of months, and he's been struggling to become a better person (hence, the mass apology thread to everyone here in October). I'll stop talking about that now, and let Rob come on and augment that if he so wishes.

I will say that Kenny, Jim, and I are with him 100% and are going to come out of this with a stronger and better Rob and a tighter Bad Daze. If anyone is concerned, please drop Rob a PM or hit him up on his MySpace - http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu ... d=26982959 - I am sure he would really appreciate it.

Rob, I'm sorry to hear about your crash man. Atleast you are ok, the car is replaceable thats for sure. Been there done that.
Maybe you'll get a smile from my new tatt? :)

I had a near death experience myself this weekend. Me and my buddy were out rippin around in his Mustang on some back roads, when the clutch cable snapped. So I had to start it in gear cause that was the only way to drive it. Well, I was able to grab second so we were good to go, but was no way to stop the car unless I shut the ignition off, or hit the brakes to stall the motor.
We were on our way back to his house, and I had to cross the main hiway, so I thought I'd chance it and just shoot across the road, cause it was on a hill and there was no way to stop and then start the car on a hill.

Anyway, I was comin to the intersection, and I slowed down as much as I could w/out stallin it, and as I got closer I saw a car coming, if I would have went for it, I would have t-boned him, so I cut a left into the passing lane and left him go by, and I immediately cut it back to the right so I could go in my initial direction.
When I cut to the right there was a truck that wasdoing every bit of 80 mph, and he almost caught the ass end of the Mustang.
I'm tellin you guys it was so damn close.
Cause of the bank on the road there was a blind spot so we couldn't see until we got there.

Would have continued down the road, but that went into town and the car had no inspection, no insurance, and no tags on it.
Stupid, I know.

Rob, You should have stayed at my house. I have a huge bed.

Glad you're ok. I'd show my tats, but I have no pics of them specifically.

I got this done at Roar in the Mountains in Hollidaysburg by Doby. (on my ankle - it's kinda hard to get a good perspective photo when it curves)
I like it but I might get the moon redone to stand out with white added. I'll probably go to Good & Evil Tattoo in State College (got my nose pierced there). They have a great group of artists.

I have another on my hip that was done in New Orleans 15 years ago. It's not as cute as it once was. Ah well.
