thanks!

i'd recommend a shar-pei to anyone. they are the sweetest, goofiest dogs---oodles of personality. although they're stubborn as hell...have a mind all their own. but if i ever decide to get a dog again (and i can afford it...), it'll be another shar-pei.

Dakota tried to sniff Keyten... Once. Poor dog hasn't been the same around that cat since. He gives her about 4'-6' worth of clearence when he walks by her ;)

I taught her not to use her claws when she plays with me (unless I'm winning, anyway) and I taught her not to swipe. But because of that, when she landed the blow on his nose, she just dug it in and stuck there. Not the swipe-and-move of a regular cat. Poor fella..

Dan. Do some research on dog breeds. Consider if you or your fiance has allergies. Also, consider if your doggie will be crate trained and staying in it during the day. Certain dogs have no problems being in a crate for the day; some have withdraw symptoms. There are many web resources on picking out a pooch. Research a dog breed as if you're researching a bass guitar. Dogs are difficult to return.

And don't buy a dog from Kent! That breed seems seriously screwed up.

AWWE!!!! everyone's animals are so adorable, but I'm a softy for anything furry. Dark Soul has to keep talking me out of taking in every stray dog and cat that I see in our neighborhood...if it wasn't for him, I'd have become crazy cat lady by now...lol!!

Shar Pei's are my fav dog ever! I used to have a tan female named Sammy when I was younger and she was the best dog that I ever had.
Always wanted to get another one.
Do you breed them? Can you let me know where to get one?
Thanks
