SHOW US YOUR......
....PETS!!!
The fiance won't shut up about getting a dog, so it's in my future once I get a house and get settled. I will most likely find myself a Greyhound to adopt. She wants a smaller dog like a Boston Terrier or Dachshund. Either way, we'll probably end up with two.
What dogs (or other pets) do you guys have running (or crawling, or slithering, or rolling) around your house???
Show pics along with names. (If your pet is already on another site, it may be best to use a link rather than post actual pics.)

Parakeets and fish...

Hoppy, Hubie and Buddy...These guys keep me sane and insane. They all have their own personalities and routines that are guaranteed to get me laughing each day. All three birds are 5 years old (Hubie, the middle bird, just turned 5 this month). Keep them stocked with seeds, the occasional orange slice, broccoli head, lettuce leaf or boiled egg, and they're happy and good to go.

The fish count at present is two goldfish (both pictured), a loach (the long stretched-out fish in the corner), two catfish and a minnow. They're quiet and fairly low-maintenance. Feed them and change 1/3 of their water daily, and clean the tank every so often...

If I can't get respect, I'll take fear... or Skittles.
Here are a couple pics of our cat Smokey (all 28 pounds of him) and our dog Scout. We got Smokey who is 6 at the humane society a couple years ago when the wife saw him on the local news when they were trying to get people to adopt a pet. Scout was 14 in the pics and we had him since he was a pup, we just had to have him put down last month due to congestive heart failure. It was one of the toughest things we ever had to do. As you can tell in the pics they were buddies and Smokey misses him as much as we do.

This was actually my last avatar before the one I have now - my current avatar amuses, but I digress.

Please say hello 2 my 3 weiners .........
Sammie and Shortie

Tobey better known as the boobie dog

Sammy was the first lil weiner dog we purchased and well he is the dominent one and also the one that listens . Shortie was given to us .
Shortie had 2 litters of pups . tobey was one from the last litter.
My lil Sammy slipped his disc and couldnt walk for 3 months. After seeing 3 different Vets they all told us the same thing that most likely he would never regain the use of his backlegs. Boy did he have them fooled.
My wife researched doxies with back injuries online and came across a web site that had some awesome information. After 2 months crated and physical therapy done by myself and my wife he has regained the use of his back legs.

That's Zooey Doo on the left and Chezney Boo on the right. This was taken last March.
These were my (Cryssie's) babies...Shar-peis. You should have seen them when they were little...just a handful of wrinkles. Sadly, Chezney passed away in June at the age of 8, and Zooey (still a pup) needed some behavioral attention, so she's now with my folks who have more time to spend with her. I miss them both terribly :*(
