Question about Toys for Tots

Post by metalchurch »

Does anyone know someone who is taking collections for money or toys for this holliday season?
I was just wondering, becuase from now until, say the week prior to christmas, everything that I sell on rockpage I will be donating a percentage of the money to toys for tots.

I just wanted to know who to give the money to.

I urge everyone else to do the same, cause nothing hurts me worse than a child doing without.

Thanks
Joe

Possibly talk to JP as he would know something....i'm thinking for some reason the Marines might have something to do with this so maybe find a local recruiter possibly?

Joe, I would just like to say that that is a very noble thing. I applaud you in your thinking of kids over yourself like that ...

If you are donating money you can do it directly on their website. ToysforTots.org

The site also shows all the drop off locations etc.

Very nice thing of you to do.

I couldn't agree more. My band (The Defining Hour) is setting up a T4T show at The Alley Sports Bar in Central City and I'm really stoked for it. I've collected a bunch of toys from several people at work and a check for $100 from 1 generous lady. I'm still hoping to get more before the show even starts. People love this charity because it is a charity that works and works well.

I have the email address & phone number for the local Marines T4T rep. Sergeant Johnson, robert.q.johnson1@usmc.mil or 814 539 7206 Ext 1013. He has been extremely helpful. Give him a call I'm sure he could answer any and all questions.

Good luck man!

Joe,

Check the Benefits section. There is one at 30 somethings every year.
