Re: link
Cool, thanks! Got my vote in and hopefully it was in on time?
Re: awesome
Don't be. He doesn't seem to notice any of it, unless you have a treat, and he's unable to reach you. Feel bad for my wife and I, Farfel's The Boss around here. He's got his little wheelchair dealy, and he zips around the house pretty well even without it. He's not in pain or anything.Jacklyn Miauff wrote:songsmith wrote:That'll turn him!!Jacklyn Miauff wrote:Thanks, spread the word. I would like to see Joe Murgo express some ANAL GLANDS!! LOLOLOLOLOL
We have a dachshund named Farfel (Okay, right now his name's Farf Diamond, leader of the 80's black metal band, Mercyful Farf, but that changes everyday) who's paralyzed from the ribs back, so EVERYTHING has to be expressed. Who'd have thought I'd be helping a dog poop? It's not fun, but he's such a little bastard, you gotta love him.---->JMS
Awe, I am soooooo sorry to hear that. Poor doggie. My parents had that happen to their cocker spaniel. It was heart breaking.
My Bichons are my life! They are soooo full of LOVE!
I made up a full back-story for him: He's convicted mob capo Tony "Big Farf" Manero, former muscle for the B'Nucci crime family. His injury is the result of a botched hit on him by the B'Nucci's, and he's at our house as part of the FBI's Dachshund Protection Program, after turning states-evidence before a Grand Jury. He's posing as Holocaust survivor Morty Farfenbaum, but nobody really buys it, because he's not Jewish, and happens to be 8 years old. He's tricky, not smart.

Actually, we got him from a rescue in Virginia, and he's originally from Oklahoma... he jumped from the back of a couch when he was 4 years old, and hurt his spine.
Don't even give him your pity, he feeds on it, and eventually you belong to him.

I tried to, but the site is SO not compatible with MSN/Web TV, which I've again been relegated to for a while now. (Monitor went pfffft!)
However, I forwarded the link and a little message to my daughter who does have a working computer. (Joe Murgo was also her Professor last year for an elective Meteorology class.) Good luck!
About paralyzed pooches: my buddy Snoopy (he was an outside dog...my mom greatly dislikes animals), who would break chains and jump fences, at the age of 7 or 8 was hit by a car and his hind legs were paralyzed for about 6 months. He was not expected to walk on them again, but at a family pic-a-nic, he walked up on all 4 legs to every person there, almost as if he was saying, look at me, I did it!

Sunday's not looking good weather wise - but if it does turn out to be good, you're on! Or sooner if ya want. Getting my throttle fixed made all the diff! Yay!Jacklyn Miauff wrote:I am up for it! Sunday would be good for me.

He is probably still there! It takes on the average about 3 hours to groom a dog. Most of them, anyhow. They have to be completely dry before you can use your clippers.
I am at my other job now or I would be there to witness the event.
