I think the better question is, am I a racist? Get the whole voting out of the way.

Then, why are so many people racists? Has it been handed down like a family heirloom? Is it because of bad experiences with people of ethnicity? I don't know but I do believe it exists.

I don't think it will affect (effect?) the election because I think that it will be a bigger margin....

I'm not a racist generally, but I laugh at racist humor like Chappelle's Show.

To me there is no ignoring the fact that some people come from different backgrounds. To think that entitles me or a race to something is whats "wrong" and "racist" in my mind. I base just about everything on individual merit alone, including any hate I happen to have to spread around.

I can say that I'm racist to a point. If there were a white girl, a black girl, and a asian girl, all equally beautiful and interested in me, I would probably pick the asian girl.

I'm from here. I'm not a racist. My drummer, Andrew and I talk about the candidates all the time. (Andrew is black). He knows I don't support either candidate. He doesn't think I'm a racist. He thinks I'm a person with a mind of my own and even though we don't see things exactly the same we are still close friends.
I do think that some people won't vote for Obama because they are racist, Just as I think some people won't vote for McCain/Palin because they are ageist or sexist. I think a big section of this country will vote for the person that their preferred media monster touts. And I think that some of us have pure ideals and want to vote for them. Personally I find it hard to take the opinion of a guy who is very vocally against the war when his district recieves the benefits of many government defense contracts.

Good question. I don't go on any "Hip Hop" boards but I don't consider myself a racist. I guess that If I said I won't go on a Hip Hop board because there are ethnic people on it then maybe I would be a racist.

I think each person knows in their heart if they are a racist or not, so I guess the question is a moot point.

I do believe that there are a lot of racist people around here. It is very uncool to admit to being a racist so I would also guess that most people do not wear that moniker proudly.

So if you vote for McCain/Pain because you like their policies (%^%^&) then cool, if you vote for them because Obama is a black man then maybe not so cool.....

That's right. Am I racist if I hate people equally? I hate old ladies that drive slow, I hate white boys who talk like they're black, and I hate the fact that the only racist I know are black. How can one not be racist? Mankind was born to hate. So, just because your skin is purple or black, or so black your purple doesn't matter. As long as you treat others with due respect then you should be treated the same way. I can understand why some people are racist. Look at O.J. and Pacman, I'd hate those fuckers if they were white. Someone I know quite well who's in their 60's said they refuse to vote for Obama because we'll fall under Muslim rule and all our freedoms will go away. I just couldn't believe it.
I tried to explain that just because he's Muslim doesn't mean terrorism will explode in this country...that's like saying all cops hang out at donut shops.
