John Kerry....presidential hopeful, BASS PLAYER

Post by grimmbass »

I think it's about time we have a bass player as a president......see if you recognize the dude on the four string in this picture:

I mean, let's face it, a bass player, ANY bass player, would make a great president! A bass man knows how to hold things together, stay solid in a storm, and to be creative when the space is available.

We need more BOTTOM and less TOP in goverment! Vote for BASS in 2004!

You know, the whole DNC is a flop. They keep talking about the same things that are not even issues right now. The economy is great right now, stocks are booming. Real estate is growing like a weed. Lowest unemployment rates in years. Education spending under Bush is up 60% from the Clinton years. I still don't understand why they keep saying the opposite...oh yea, they are lying to get the people to listen.

I'm sorry guys, but I just had to!

And here I thought we'd have one fun post where nobody would start posting serious political opinions. Wishful thinking I suppose....although I'm glad you guys think about this stuff.

I'm trying to think of ANYTHING I could post that wouldn't draw some kind of political fire....

Here's an idea: a non-political post.

=)

I assume you're joking, then so am I :)

I am not a Kerry fan first and formost BUT,come on Rob the repetitive Jagerganda comes in the form of "The Maharushi" that you all bow to,start at noon, listen for 3 minutes and 30 seconds, shut it off, turn it back on at 1:00,listen for 3 mins. 30 secs. again,SHUT IT OFF,back at 2:00,bash,bash,bash..........Can't we all just get along? It's for our own sake this time.Al Franken had it right all along,RUSH LIMBAUGH IS A BIG FAT IDIOT! Buy it,read it,memorize it,study it,have yourself hypnotized to it,believe it and only listen to wrta when Dave Weaver is hosting.Just my op. and you know I still love ya man cause you play drums.PEACE

If the economy is great and unemployment is low, where the hell are all the jobs? Or did McDonalds and Burger King open up 100 new places?

You want to put a bass player in control of the country? Sorry, that is a position better suited for lead guitarists and sax players. Bassists should take suppporting roles in cabinet positions, like 4x10" or 18's.

I'm really sorry I missed Ted Kennedy's speech. He has filled in brilliantly for Foster Brooks since his death. I caught a few words from Mrs. Heinz-Kerry. Didn't she play Magenta in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show"...sure sounds like her. When's Riff Raff scheduled to speak?

I've been holding back until something political was posted. Here's another great reason for Nader to go F himself.

Enjoy!

I saw Al Gore's speech on Monday, Where was That guy in 2000? That Al Gore would have won

anyway.

During Vietnam, John Kerry was wounded for his country not once, not twice but 3 times. and won the Silver and Bronze Star.

During Vietnam, George Bush was somewhere in Alabama doing God knows what, allegedly for the National Guard and we may never know cause the records have been missing, oh sure, they found them now, after the RNC has had a chance to edit them.

it doesn't really matter there are a lot of people who are going to vote GOP cause they vote GOP and that's it.

The rest of us can't be bothered to Vote, that's how guys like Bush get into office.

I tried a nice post on the movie "Wild Things" and the beauty of lesbianism (GWB could not pronounce that!) in films but it didn't go over!

Oh well I guess that I will have to ponder the relevance of our current political situation (GWB would not know what that meant!) to the needs of the board.

As Bobby will atest, even conversations on bush (or the fondling there of) seem to draw the politcal extremists out!

I thought for a while that the Republican Party was loosing there sense of humor but GWB proves that is not true, go figure!

I will try to stay away from Politics in the future (Just like GWB should!)
