Actually my wife rides, sings and sept 29th was 3 years since we found out she had breast cancer, all is good now and life has been getting back to normal. She has a login on here but rarely get on.
She's always complaining cause its all guys we ride with. I tried to tell her I wouldn't complain if I had to ride with a bunch of girls though ( that didn't go over real great )
If ya get something together I'm sure she would be interested or if ya just wanna ride sometime we can do that ( this weekend is looking good )

Chickriders! Let's plan something for Sunday around 1:30. PM if you want to meet up somewhere in the middle for us and then we'll plan our route. We can do a couple rides and then gear up for a benefit, hopefully before Winter hits. (tonefight, can you let your wife know to see if she's interested?)

So far it's me and Sabrina. Roar Chick, I'd let ya ride wit me, but while I'm gettin' good at it I'm not ready for a passenger just yet. By spring 09, I hope!

So - we're looking at 1:30 on Sunday meeting in Altoona and heading somewhere curvy - maybe Sinking Valley?

Thanks! I'm always careful, I'm in it for the fun not taking chances. I kinda got into it a little unaware, bought my bike before I even rode. But I took the rider course (absolutely great course, by the way, highly recommended) and took it slow, only doing things in small increments until I felt confident. I still have a lot to learn but it's such a great feeling.

I figured that you are the careful/mature rider type, I was speaking more so on the carelessness and total disregard of the other motorists that share (if you wanna call it that) the road with the cyclists.
I try to leave atleast 2 car lengths behind when following a bike, and I try to do the same when following tractor trailers. If you can't see their mirrors, then they cant see you.

What fun! Thanks to Sabrina for ridin' with me. She's more experienced and patient! I think I need to get my throttle adjusted, but it was a great day to ride!

Anytime Trace, It was a good time. No need to thank me for patience. It wasn't all that long ago that I was a newbie and I had some great female friends teach me.

I guess I was always sort of a TOMBOY and I pick up that type of stuff fast. We need to plan for another outing. I'm always up for it!
