Lies Inc announces the departure of our lead vocalist, JD Hicks. Following three years of live performance and two studio recordings (1996's "Statistics" and our forthcoming "Full Disclosure" disc), JD is leaving to pursue a new musical project. Dax, Ron, and I wish JD the best of luck in his future endeavors and thank him for his contributions to our music! Hope to see the band up and running soon, bro!

So....who is our new lead singer? What is his/her/its name? The answer will be revealed at our next show, Friday, October 10, at Magoo's!

I checked out Lies Inc. at Castle Pub last friday night, not bad my buddy said they needed a singer that could get the crowd into it and they would be a force. maybe Axl Rose is the new guy.

Musically this was perhaps the best band I have seen in awhile, they were tight as hell, bass and drums lock, and the guitar guy is slick as hell. with a new singer I can't wait to see them.

As the former singer for Lies, I'm not sure why you're taking a dump on me. I have put years of hard work into this project and you are judging my entire contribution to Lies, Inc. on a solitary performance. I don't think he really "took a dump" on you. He just stated what his buddy said. By looking at his posts, I'm guessing he was trying to be nice to the rest of the band and pump up some excitement about the new singer.

I wouldn't let it bug ya. I'll quote Katt Williams here: "If you don't have at least ten haters you ain't doing something right, and if you don't want'em send them my way I could always use another". You've got enough credibility. Don't sweat it man.

You make a good point, Dirty. It was a knee-jerk reaction on my part. I just didn't want everyone who didn't get the chance to see us over the past 3 or 4 years to get the impression that I brought the band down night after night.
