I think based on recent events it's time for us ALL to ban together and collectively support a FRIEND prob. the best friend a local musician ever had, I am saying NOW DO NOT LISTEN TO Q-94 !!! DO NOT SPEND ADVERTISING DOLLARS WITH Q-94 FINANCIALLY RUIN Q-94 !!! tell your friends and family, announce it at your shows do what you have to do. What they have done here is all the more reason to get satellite radio. JP I know you and I know you will come back and come back strong, are you looking to stay in radio? I know some people.

I'll absolutely sign a petition! Jim has done great things to help support the music scene in PA, and we NEED people like Jim to keep doing what they do, so we can do what we do!

It's the ONLY WAY!!! I suggest EVERYONE e-mail Q94 and just simply state....I WILL NO LONGER BE LISTENING TO YOUR STATION AND THANK YOU FOR GIVING US 25 YEARS WITH 'THE PROFESSOR" JIM PRICE. BUT NOW HE IS GONE AND SO ARE MY EARS.

Folks, if you really want to make a difference, you have to hit the radio station where it hurts: In the wallet. Let your voice be heard, here's what to do.

1. Listen to Q-94 for one week. Seven days.

2. Have a notepad handy and write down every single advertiser that you hear on the air.

3. POLITELY inform those advertisers via letter or phone call what has happened, and that you and your family and friends will no longer be patronizing their businesses unless Jim Price is re-hired.

4. STICK TO IT. You'll have to make some lifestyle changes, but our friend Jim is worth it.

5. Pass this information along to family and friends, and have it grow.

Radio does not care about it's people, or you, the listener. It's all about the advertising dollar. So if they take a financial hit, then you can really make a difference.

Maybe the focus should be helping JP, not punishing Q94. It's the times really. Standard radio is dated anyway. JP could start his own satallite web ipod-cast mp3 radio station thingy if he really wants. This place is jammed packed with talent, and someone needs to get the music to masses. JP is obviously a natural at that.

First to everyone who has responded: Thank you for your support; it is much appreciated.

I do have a request...While I appreciate everyone here taking up for me, please do not take it out on Diane or Adam or the other staff at Q94. The decision was made from above, and the other employees are victims of the decision as much as me. They are fearing for their jobs as well, and the "Eff Q94" trashing could cost them their employment as well. I do not want that to happen. Diane and Adam especially have been fighting in my corner to keep me on, so they do not deserve the mean-spiritedness.

While I'm disappointed in the decision, I can't dwell on it, and have to move forward. Make lemonade from lemons.
