~*~Tastey Beverages~*~

Post by esa »

When I go out, I rarely drink beer anymore. Why? When one drinks oneself sober, one doesn't often drink that drink for a while. I prefer yuengling, coors light, and mich ultra. However, I drink a set mixed drink all the time. A neon glow. Tastey. Sneaky.

So, just for something different...When you're out playing or just watching, what is your normal drink? Bottle, can, draft, mixed, non-alcoholic, ???. Have a good recipe? Share it here.

Beats and beverages go hand in hand...why not share the knowledge wealth.

Mixed Drink: Jack & Coke, tall
Shots: Rumpleminz (MUST be chilled)

For Playing...
Beer: Bud Draft, and only after sets.
Mixed Drink: none
Shots: None
Other: Water, and lots of it!
Dood...

I've become multi-lingual in beer over the years, and the choice of brew for watching bands by depends on the venue and the town (and what's available). Brew of preference = Genesee (yes, I'm proud to be a Genny drinker, it's been my brew of choice since college). If Genny is not available (a more frequent problem in recent years), Yeungling has become my second most fluent beer language. I speak Heineken quite well at Peter C's, with Molson as a capable second choice if the Heineken supply runs dry. I have a working taste for MGD and Coors products (I always seem to do MGD when I'm in Johnstown for some reason).

I don't usually do mixed drinks or shots unless somebody offers one to me. My recent preference is the snakebite.

Beer - Guinness Stout / Corona
Mixed - Greenshit / Purple Mother Fucker / Southern & Pepsi / Pina Coloda
Shots - Jagermeister / Firewater
And a shitload of H20 in the morning. Oh ya and one more thing. Can anyone tell me why when I drink Jagermeister I see demons.

7-up/Sprite/Sierra Mist before and during, Yuengling Lager after (sometimes). This is actually a good thread... singers should always hydrate for an hour or so before the gig... you'd be surprised how much it helps.----->JMS
