For Drummers ( and their sound men ) Only

Post by Hawk »

I know this might belong in the tech section but more drummers might find it here.
When drummers get together there are always questions about tuning, shell selection, drum head selection, and mic placement. Try this site and let me know what you think. What kind of experimenting have you done that really made an improvement ?

Hiya Hawk!

Whenever i got my set i took all the heads off and tapped my shells, Each drum has its own pitch, Ive even recorded the timbre and tried to tune accordingly. This helps when you suck at tuning which i do, so it was a cool cheat since i dont have a fretboard!
