Everything Lisa said, you guys were on and Clint, you had a better drum sound than Jason Bonham, you did man. Glad you guys got to hang with him too. Steve, Ronny and Joe....awesome guys!

Great to hear Foreigner, they are a supergroup in my mind with all the hits. They were polished and the singer nailed Lou pretty good. Seeing Jason was a treat here in lil tunatown.

Thank you guys for all the compliments. We really had fun and it was great to play for such an enthusiastic and appreciative crowd. Foreigner is such a great band and meeting Jason Bonham was cool for me. I was a huge fan of his dad and to be able to talk to him and see that kit with the 3 rings on the front bass drum head like Zeppelin was very cool. Thanks to Brian McConnell from Freelance Audio for getting my kit to sound so good out front. It was a great show all around and I hope that Scott continues to bring shows like this to the area. We wanted to say "thank you" to him as well.

What an excellent night! The weather was great, and the concert was an all-around good time.

I arrived during Half Tempted’s set, and they were feeling it! I agree that Clint’s drum sound was powerful, and the rendition of UFO’s “Lights Out in (Altoona)” – sent out to Jason Bonham – was nails on!

Before Foreigner took the stage, Scott from In2It Marketing and two youngsters showed off a guitar autographed by Foreigner, which was given away at the end of the night. Anyone purchasing one of Foreigner’s CD’s was entered into the drawing, and $5 from each CD purchase was donated to the Altoona Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) – very cool!

I thought Foreigner did an excellent job; they elevated the show from concert to party, and sounded strong on all of the crucial hits – “Double Vision,” “Head Games,” “Cold as Ice,” “Dirty White Boy,” “Feels Like the First Time,” “Urgent,” and “Juke Box Hero,” which started out of a “Kashmir” tease, and (like on their live CD) incorporated part of Zep’s “Whole Lotta Love” in the middle. I thought Kelly Hansen did a good job on voice, he displayed an upbeat stage personality and captured the Lou Gramm feel on a lot of the songs, especially the ballads “Waiting Like a Girl Like You” and “I Want to Know What Love Is.” I also liked the acoustic take on “Say You Will,” with Jason Bonham coming out front to help with backing vocals. The atmosphere was charged, and the crowd was loud and appreciative. Foreigner rewarded them with the encore at night’s end, doing “I Want to Know What Love Is” and “Hot Blooded.”

The whole night was one big, positive vibe. Hats off to Scott and In2it Marketing and the Railroaders Museum for making shows like this happen in Altoona – here’s hoping for many more!

If anyone ever finds a flattering picture of me playing, please send it to the Smithsonian Institute because it's ultra rare! What a hideous expression on my face! LOL.....OMG! Do I really look like that? Man, I hope not. If so, I'm never going to complain to my wife about not having sex with me! LOL......

Dude I thought you looked like you were totally into it! You guys played a really good set. Don't get me wrong, you didn't look good enough to have sex with but....

Awesome job Half Tempted and awesome job Altoona. I had a blast cause I got to take my kids up to the front and have an experience that was very fulfilling. I have been cramming Foreigner down their throats for four weeks in anticipation and they had a blast! They knew every song and loved it all!

great job Scott from in2it also!

A huge thank you from me to all involved, which pretty much covers all in attendance at the show, whether in the show, behind the scenes, or in the audience (or on the 12th Street bridge). Most importantly for me, thank you Ron Dalansky and Half Tempted for involving me in this endeavor. Last night was a poignant moment in time for me and an opportunity for Half Tempted to "shine and define" I love you guys!

JP, outstanding coverage as always....your tireless dedication to the area's rock & roll scene is simply "Lights Out" 8)

Bobby Watters, we've had levitating plates, deer hawks, and countless moments of insanity, but we never got to do a "big" gig together....the fact that you were able to be there last night means a lot to me bro

Not to beat a dead horse, but I thought maybe if I waited a day or two and went back to look at the pic Jim Price took of me playing at the Foreigner show, things would be better.....NOT! I look like a cross between my dad and a gay troll! Oh well..........

I missed this but I'd like to say great job guys, and it's nice to hear that it went well. That would be so cool to share the bill with notable acts like Foreigner and Bonham. Did you guys get some pic's together and autographs?

Thanks man, and yes, we did get a pic of us with Jason Bonham back stage. He was the only one that came out and mingled with us common folk. He was very gracious.

Well that was cool of him atleast. So, Foreigner were too good for everyone? They should be more appreciative of what fans they have left. Not like they are headlining stadium shows anymore. You guys know what I mean, I'm not trying to sound like a dick, but I do not like when bands act like that. It's not very nice, and very uncalled for. But anyways like I said, atleast you guys had a good time and that's all that really matters at the end of the day.

Actually, the whole band did a meet and greet prior to their show. They were very cool and signed alot of autographs and stuff. They really didn't have much time to stop and hang out back stage, Jason just happened to be a little more accessible than the other guys. His female companion was prodding him on to get moving and get back to the tour bus. He seemed like he would be fun to party with, very robust and full of life. He just seemed like he enjoyed being "available", I don't really know about the other guys but I'm sure they were cool.
