Saw the Hawks at Heritage Plaza Thursday, good solid performance, all blues all the time. Nice job guys.
Good to meet all the Rock Pagers there: Dirty Sanchez, Naked Twister, Hawk and Hurricane.

Re: The Hawks
Jim, it was good to see you and Dick Vaught (spelling?) last night ! As well as all of the RP members who stopped by.slink wrote:Saw the Hawks at Heritage Plaza Thursday, good solid performance, all blues all the time. Nice job guys.

Thanks man ! We are a little rough around the edges, but we had a great time.
Then we went down to "30" and caught Felix. Thanks to the Hurricanes, who left Mike (mjb) sit in with them. The Canes sounded great as they always do !

Thanks Slink! thanks everyone for that matter, it was cool to see some RPers there last night and really receptive crowd.
Bobby, thanks for the kind words and the sit in. i'm glad i did it. You guys always are so kind and helpful. usually after i see you guys play, i feel like comming home and throwing all my gear on the burnpile,,but after last night i was truely inspired to work harder at playing, Felix is such a monster player and such a great guy. thanks, it was a nice capper on a great evening.
when we started off with that B.B. tune last night and Felix said to you "remember that one?" and you said "no" and you guys just started playing it. i laughed my ass off at that the whole way home thinking about it.
thanks again, that was a cool night, untill Felix just burried me that is

Whens the next gig? If I know ahead of time, I can just take that night off =)
Laugh if you want to, really is kinda funny, 'cause the world is a car and you're the crash test dummy.

Want to thank all the RP'ers that showed up for the debut. Also want to thank my band mates for a good time. I had a blast. You guys are pro's. Our next gig, Colton will be at the benefit the Sanchez is holding so come on down. It's gonna be an awesome time. I was kind of shocked at the response we got for playing the blues so I guess we'll stick with it.
A special thanks to the guys doing sound, you did a great job. I especially enjoyed the " Rascal Dancers " . For those not present there were people cruising around out in front on their motorized wheel chairs doing figure eights. It's a new craze!!!!!!!!!
