Broken Neck News !!

Post by cucuplex96 »

Although Broken Neck is gone.... We made a myspace page, so the people that liked the band had somewhere to listen to the music, comment and send pics ect.

I would like to invite dirty sanchez to give a listen.

Maybe in the future we will do a show and sell some CDs.. but for now that is way up in the air.

Just wanted people to remember. It was a really fun band to be in, and I miss it... Those were the good old days. I dont know if anyone remembers PIPE, Broken Neck was formed shortly after PIPE, with members Dan Martino and Josh Anspach from PIPE. PIPE was awesome at least from what I can remember.. They Pounded.

also if anyone wants to know.. this stuff was recorded at Mud Hutt Studios in Sharon Pa. just northwest of Pittsburgh

Well anyone that wants to hear it again, or anyone that is curious.. ENJOY

Here is the site:

We used to jam with Nocturnal Mourning, as the first installment, and we used to do shows with Sauce Monster as the second installment.

The original first installment was the best in my opinion.. I wonder if jason remembers the Bunker show .. when we busted in on Martino and the knob gobbler in the van with vid cam.. haha good times!

Where the hell is Martino?

I remember right after you guys recorded the first couple of songs Dan came over and I made about 50 copies for him on my PC and printed sleeves with a black and red skull....

Would that've been about 99? I was still at PSU so that's my guess...

Pretty sure I still have a stack of them hehe....

Def. A cool band. I never got to see them, but I heard a lot about them when I was just getting to be old enough to drink. I would support a reunion show for sure. Danny used to work for me about 2 years ago, and I actually jammed with Josh a few times down in Bellwood where the side effects now practice. Both cool guys.

Awesome ... the Broken Neck days bring back some good memories.

That rocks, Phil. Thanks for the trip down Memory Lane.

Not my style of music, but there is talent there. Good song writing and the tunes rocked. Danny was a bandmate of mine in Riot Act and Josh is holding my old "Front" bass drum head in the pic on "Beat off". Danny and Josh are great guys, it would be cool to see them play together again. Thanks for posting this!
