AHHH STICKERS!

When i was younger i stickered the crap outta this guitar. Whats the best way I can get these off without completely fuckin up the paint? Really afraid to try a razor, as i know ill just end up taking chunks out of the finish.

Any ideas?

A razor, and WD-40. Be easy though.

Goo Gone. Apply liberally and let it soak into the stickers for half and hour or more, peel off as much of the stickers as you can, repeat.
It won't hurt the finish.

Yeah, what Ron said works good too.

I usually use WD-40 cause I always have a can of that.

Use a hair dryer to gently heat the stickers to make them more pliable, especially if they are vinyl, then lift up a corner of the sticker w/ the razor, spray some WD on there let it soak, and then work it loose.

Or... get an 80 grit grinding disc on your drill and go to town, but be careful, cause you might ruin the finish.

Or... lay it on the bank and blast them off with a shotgun.

That guitar has a nice color, and it would look good all scratched up, like a relic finish or somthing.

I don't use a razor... I've used a Fender Medium pick, and a hair dryer to get it started, then WD, or stickum release spray for athletic tape. --->JMS

I had one of those Hondo's, just like that one. Awesome maple neck for such an inexpensive guitar. I gave it to my brother, and he still has it.

I've been into that category of guitars lately... 80's Japanese-made solid bodies, like Hondo, Vantage, Memphis, Cort, Westone, etc. A lot of them were made in the Matsumoku plant, and were pretty well made. I had a Cort Explorer-copy that was awesome once I put Dimarzio's in it... silver with giant metalflakes in the finish, you could see it from a mile away, and it played almost too well.
