Joe, the article you pasted to start "your" CO2 thread happened to have this at the bottom:
"Copyright AFP 2008, AFP stories and photos shall not be published, broadcast, rewritten for broadcast or publication or redistributed directly or indirectly in any medium."

Joe, the reason your post got deleted was because of this disclaimer at the end of the article you reposted:

LOL!!! There goes that conspiracy theory.
I have seen big brother and he looks alot like Jim Price. hahahaha!!!

You want the government to take care of you? Vote Obama, because yes he can take care of each and every one of you! Remember folks its not what you can do for your country, it's what your country can do for you here in the good old USSA!

Rob, such a blatant lie. Back that up with some facts. If you wish to engage in a discussion, blatant lies don't work well. Be specific about what you don't like about Obama.

A guy who thinks health care is OK just the way it is.
A guy who is against off shore drilling until he thinks he can get some votes by suddenly being for it.
A guy who doesn't know Al-Qaeda from insurgence.
A guy who will keep the war going, which will continue the increasing deficit and devaluation of the dollar.
A guy who has a temper that is too often out of control (ask the staff who quit his campaign in the beginning of the campaign) although his temper is known being out of control.
A guy who agrees with Bush on nearly everything.
Bi-lingual ? Hell, you'll be speaking Chinese if they keep buying our debt.
Spending without paying is the most UN-PATRAOTIC thing a president can do to Americans for generations to come. McCain will follow in Bush's footsteps in this most unpatriotic game plan.
Ahem....Bill, these are all such blatant lies. Back them up with some facts. If you wish to engage in a discussion, blatant lies don't work well.

...Oh, the freedom of the day that yielded to no rule or time...
I wanna pissed off president. What's he gonna do throw a fit and blow up the whole middle east. (prolly not a bad idea anyways) but no he can't do that.
WE NEED APRESIDENT WHO IS JUST AS UNHAPPY AS WE ARE.
That's the only way you'll see any "CHANGE".

I was hoping for a race between two candidates with some BALLS.
Unfortunately, Hillary lost the nomination and now that won't happen.

Is it a good idea for the next POTUS to want us in Iraq for a 100 years? The current administration (and McCain) thinks we should stay until we win the war. What exactly constitutes a "win"? McCain couldn't give a straight answer to that question this past week. Apparently they think we should stay until the job is done. What exactly was/is the job? I thought it was "finding WMDs".
I also don't believe that Obama has any experience in foreign relations, which is something we need to work on now that we've pissed off most of the world. But, no matter who is running, there will NEVER be a perfect candidate.
One thing we should all agree on: Let's not let the current administration, on it's way out, take our attention away from the situation in Afghanistan/Pakistan by redirecting our focus to Iran. All we need is for the Taliban (which are still going strong, by the way) to get hold of the nukes in Pakistan. One thing at a time.
I'd hate to see us use Israel to provoke Iran to do whatever Bush could use as an excuse to bomb them next. When Bush decided to change the USA's policy not to attack sovereign nations, we should have picked a better sovereign nation to hit. Maybe we should have started with Iran?
I always hated it when my soldiers would complain about stuff without ever offering a possible solution to the problem. But, I find myself absolutely baffled by the current situation in Iraq. I still have a lot of friends over there, and I can honestly say that I have a hard time believing the upper echelon leaders when they say we're making progress. Especially when my friends (all just a bunch of grunts doing the dirty work) are saying that we're just spinning our wheels at this point.
All I know is that I don't envy ANYONE that has to serve in the POTUS position. But, since they fight so hard to get in that office, they had better bust their ass to do the right thing! I'd hate to see another bout of blatant lies like this administration successfully got away with. Too much of the American public were snowed into believing that Iraq was a part of the war on terror. Some still believe this to be true. If it is that easy to lead our fellow Americans astray, by simply declaring false statements on TV, then we should all be a lot more cautious.
I was listening to a local radio talk show today. Every one was calling in to candidate Tony Barr. They were saying, "Drill, drill, drill".
The oil is ours right ? We will benefit, right ?
WRONG. We will GIVE the oil to "Big Oil" and they can / will sell it on the world market. Having little impact on the cost of gas.
McCain VOTED AGAINST having the oil in Anwar when / if we drill to have the oil be ONLY for the United States ! He (and the Republicans) voted to have it go on the world wide market.
So - is McCain for you or the rich and big oil ?
BTW he will make the tax cuts to the top 4% of the rich permanent ! Is that thinking of the next generation(s) that will be stuck with the deficit ? You decide.
Saturday: "That sounds like a good timetable".
Sunday: "I didn't use the word timetable".
He doesn't even know.
By mid 2007 McCain only showed up for four of fourteen votes pertaining to Iraq.
So far this year he has shown up for none.
McCain for the troops ?
April 2003 he tabled an amendment to provide one billion dollars of National Guard and Reserve equipment.
October 2003 he tabled an amendment to provide 322 million dollars for safety equipment.
March 2004 he voted against increasing veterns medical care by 1.8 billion dollars.
March 2006 he voted against closing corporate tax loop holes that would have increased veterns medical by 1.5 billion dollars.
April 2006 he voted against an extra 430 million dollar for veteran out patient care.
May 2006 he voted against 20 million dollars for veterns health care facilities.
September 2007 he voted against an amendment that would give troops a minimum rest period before redeployment.
May 2008 he spoke out against the GI bill. but never showed up to vote. Of course when that bill passed McCain received praise from President Bush for it. You read that right. McCain was against it. Did not vote for it. But excepted praise when it passed.

Or do just listen to Republican rhetoric ?
If Hawk likes any idea of Obama's, it will be lead to the downfall of America. I will use Hawk as my political weather vane, if Hawk is for it, it is a socialist policy.

You mean closing the"Enron loop hole" is a bad thing. You'd like to see more havoc created by this measure ?
BTW Joe, you didn't answer my question(s) yet.
Did you write - refuse, return to sender - on your stimulus check ? Or don't you live what you preach ? I mean, if you are against hand outs , you are a hypocrite if you kept / spent it. The same with all of you anti- socialists. Stand up and tell me what you did.
lonewolf already announced what he did with his.
Me ? I spent it on a PA system.
