The warehouse in bedford
Can anyone tell me how to get to the warehouse near bedford? I'll be coming from the Johnstown area, but directions from I-99 or RTE 30 would be fine.
I,m also wandering what this room sounds like? Whats the size? Is there 220 power?

It's easy to get to from I-99. Follow I-99 all the way to the end, as if you were going to the turnpike. It's not in downtown Bedford, it's in the little Breezewood-Lite area with all the motels and restaurants. There's a Travelodge on the right just past the turnpike entrance. The Warehouse is all the way in the back of the Travelodge.
It's a fairly big room with mostly bare concrete walls. The ceilings aren't as high as the club's name would imply. Not sure about 220.
Oh, and come prepared to have a good time. It's got a fun crowd!

If you haven't found out everything you're looking for, K and I will be playing there next Wednesday and I can scope it out for you.

Here is another question about Bedford in general...
Someone told me that there was a pyrotechnics law out there or something that would even prohibit the use of lights. Is this true?
It might be silly, but better safe than sorry.

Lost Ledny has played The Warehouse three times now and each time it gets better. They love live music down there and everyone show support. Only bad thing about the place is the sound. It is all open with wall to wall concrete with the floor being concrete. Finding the right sound levels can take some time. It'll hold around 300-400 packed in the place. I believe it's about 850 square feet. The stage is a nice size and you need your own PA and lighting system.
It's very easy to find. Just head towards the Bedford Turnpike Interchange. If you were to take the Turnpike you'd make a right coming from the Johnstown way. Instead of taking the right at the light, drive through the light about another 100 yards and there will sit the Travel Lodge. The Warehouse is in the back of the parking lot. If you get lost there is a Sheetz right by the light near the Turnpike entrance...ask them for directions. But if you're actually at the Sheetz...stand in the parking lot and look around...you'll be able to spot the Travel Lodge sign from Sheetz.

Thanks to all for the directions!
Was at the warehouse over the weekend the staff was super.
When I asked about 220 power they showed me the main panel in a back room. Not wanting to run cable for power across the floor they told me I could cut a hole in the wall too run cable for power. So I took them up, I would not have beleived it had I not been there.
They where a little concerned about volume levels, they where warned the week before about that. The odd thing is theres nothing around except the turnpike. Sound police on overtime I guess.

What kind of music are they getting in there ? Sounds like a good gig if they like classic rock.
