So, my unborn child.......
Is already being a little stubborn brat.
We went for our 3rd ultrasound today. I was stoked to find out my kids gender, and the little pisser wouldn't cooperate and move into a position where we could find out. Oh well, guess it'll be a surprise. People have told me those things are not always accurate any ways. Any stories, anyone wants to share?
PS- The baby is healthy and the perfect size for its age. I cant wait til mid- November. The due date is 11/26. (Still praying/begging/pleading for a boy.) If it's a girl, buy stock in the makers of xanax.

I'm gonna say December 1st. Just because it's the first day of deer season. I better tag out in archery season. I'm such a hick. haha
Of course, she's still planning on going to the NOFX/D4 show on 10/21.
Fat Mike may induce labor. Little bugger was kickin up a storm at Scoobs Sat. night. Was moshin like crazy in moms belly to Drain The Sorrow. I won't hold it against him if he likes hardcore, just no flat bills. That's where I'm drawing the line. LOL

glad to hear everything is going well.
i'm going with november 22.
when we went for the ultrasound we actually watched michaela pee and seen her bladder empty out. it was cool. thats also when it hit me i was going to be a father for the rest of my life!
little girls are so much fun brian but i hope you get a boy if thats what you prefer. that clich'e (sp) " as long as it's healthy" though couldn't be more true." honestly. at that second when your wife is delivering, the gender of the baby won't even cross your mind you'll be hoping for a healthy baby and thats it. i love having a daughter! i'll probobly be hating it in about 13-14 years though LOL.
good luck buddy, to you and the wife.

Hey
Hey Brian, first glad all is going well. I would say if the child does not want to cooperate then it is probably a boy. Just a hunch. I will take November 13th, that is my 20th Wedding anniversary. Fuck, can't even believe I have been married for 20 years! That's what you get for tying the knot at 4.. hahahaha...
When my first child was born it was at UCLA medical center in LA. We had already decided that we would do circumcision, well, as it turned out we had to change our mind. The Dr took Nicholas to have the c done and they came back about 25 minutes later. They were not able to perform the surgery.
Do you know why?
They did not have a ring big enough! The first thing I though was who the hell's child is this ( I am well hung like a fruit fly ). At least he was not black and well hung....
best of luck to you and your wife, if you ever need any help....
Like with getting your wife knocked up the next time...... No really hung like a fruit fly.....
Peace Bro!

Re: So, my unborn child.......
My first child was the same way, he wouldnt turn around for us to see what it was, turned out it was a boy. The child that i have on the way is due the day before yours, 11/25 and we already found out that we're having a girl. She opened right up and showed herself to everyone, it was neat.DirtySanchez wrote:Is already being a little stubborn brat.

Oh Brian.... It'll be ok. As far as the stubborn brat thing goes, you and Shannon have to admitt that the baby gets it honestly. LOL Just think if you don't find out what it is how much more exciting that its going to be when Shannon goes into labor and the Doc says IT'S A GIRL! orIT'S A BOY!. Personally I'm hoping that my godchild is a girl. LOL But if it's a boy I will still love the little devil the same. You two still have some time yet and whos to say that the baby just might feel like showing it all. LOL

So glad that the little one is healthy and in the end, boy or girl...all that really matters is that they are healthy. I know you want a boy, but as it has already been said, when that moment happens and you see that little face for the first time - it will be a moment you will never forget.

Wouldn't Co-operate?
Wouldn't cooperate? Decided to be difficult? Sounds like a healthy child, boy or girl... It's only right that it's being difficult right from the beginning... Welcome to parenthood. I love my boys but man being a parent is a challenge. Good luck with the little one

The day the little one comes home, your life won't be the same. Forget about sleep for a year and free time is gone. From now 'till the birth enjoy all the things that you take for granted. Go see as many of your friends bands as you can. It'll be hard enough to rehearse and gig for your own project. Sleep in late, go out to eat, watch football without interruptions, PRATICE YOUR INTRUMENT!!!!!!!!!, just have fun without feeling exhausted all the time.
One cool thing I always loved was coming home at 3:00 in the morning after a show and feeding the new born so my wife could sleep

thats one thing, is playing, man its hard to get the time. my daughter is 2.5 and from the time she wakes up now till she goes to bed it's all about her. and then i'm so exausted when she finally does go to bed i don't feel like doing shit but veggin. but it's cool and the reason it's so cool is you and your wife are her whole world. your life does change, i got sick of people feeding me that line i was out to prove them wrong(cuz thats just how i am) but as much as i hate to say it, they were all rightMarshall Blue wrote:The day the little one comes home, your life won't be the same. You and Shannon should go get that 3d ultra sound done...Its REALLY cool, I believe she saw the pix of Piper's 3d Ultra sound on my my space...Piper even gave Wendy the finger cuz she poked her cuz she wouldnt cooperate , Wendy poked her and the dr got my darling daughter giving the finger inside my belly...It was the funniest thing ever...
Anyways its really neat,Tell Shannon to get a hold of me and I will get her the details if you want to do it its neat, even if you still cant find out the sex...

Thank You, random, faceless internet person who I don't know.I have a question wrote:Dont circumsize your boy either...it is genital mutilation. Watch a video of it first & you will understand.
I'll take that into consideration.

It looks like we're gonna get another look at the baby.
They said her amniotic fluids were a little low and want to do another ultrasound. I hope this is nothing major. They didn't put her on bed-rest or anything yet.
