on a current artist. Who would you really like this oppurtunity from?

I think it would be cool as s*it to get a call from Lamb of God to contribute vokills or some leads on one of their new songs. I like what they are doing for the current metal scene.

I would also love to lay down a guitar track for Trent Reznor or Prince; I think they are musical geniuses.

Peter Gabriel or Sting for sure. I agree a session with Prince would be incredible. I'd also like to be in a session with Jon Anderson of Yes.

Guest vocal for Symphony X or Queensryche.

Then again, I don't know if I want to sing next to Geoff Tate.

I would love to do anything with A Perfect Circle, or anything that Dave Grohl would want to do.

Ralph Stanley, Jim Lauderdale, Mike Henderson and/or The Steeldrivers, Dolly Parton, Vince Gill, The Hillbilly Gypsies, Larry Cordle & LST, Elton John, Paul Rodgers, Judas Priest, Rush, Robert Randolph, Warren Haynes/Gov't Mule, Black Crowes, and Metallica if they weren't such douches. Douchery does not fit in metal.
There, bassist25, I used "douchery" in a sentence, and I'm going to do it again. --->JMS

I just feel so awesome that one of my neologisms is finally gaining widespread appeal. :)

I'm partial to the term "douchebaggery".

And any project with Maynard singing would be great to sit in on... especially if it was one of those spacey tripped out tunes.

I've gotta few.

1- 1973 With John McLaughln & Mahavishnu Orchestra.Soaking up that vibe and trading licks with Jonnie Mac.Priceless.

2-John Scofield. The cat always seems to be right on the edge....just about ready to fall off then BAMB some of the best improvising, weaving bopping jazz you could even enjoy a GASP beer to. Plus when i saw him in 96 he sat at our table and enjoyed the buffet spread with me and my friends.Awsome

3-Bill Frissell.Who wouldn't?

4-Flotsam &Jetsam-Highly underrated metal band that continues to churn out interesting metal albums with awsome guitar work long after people have forgotten who their founding bass player was.

5-DevilDriver-Cause i love this fuckin band.

6-James Hetfield-Yeah yeah yeah i know he's a pussy cause he sold a few records and tried to stop people from stealing his music but the dude's right hand cannot be denied...........now if he only had a drummer

7-Iron Madien

8-Uli Jon Roth-You don't need to ask do you?

Its prob dumb to say this, but it would be cool to jam with Ozzy. He has so many good guitarists in his lifetime. If I was a rock guitarist I think Whitesnake would have been cool too. David Coverdale is a talented chap.

Although, I'll lose my street cred...or what little of my name I have left.

1. Coldplay, I think they are an amazing band, and I think they're capable of doing a heavier song. Violet Hill (from Viva La Vida) proves it for me.

2. Samael - Just because I probably would link up the best with them.

3. Meshuggah - Because I just want to!!!

I'll take it a step further and list some local bands

Neocracy
The Embalmed
Demolitia
Twisted and Used

ah what am I talking about. I'd guest for any band. Cause you all rule

I'd love to throw down some vocals for Remembering Never, or some bass tracks for Poison the Well.

It would be a dream come true to play or sing with Three Dog Night or James Taylor.

I'm going to say Don Henley or Joe Walsh. I just love The Eagles and also Walsh's solo releases. They have so much talent in that band.
