Happy Canada Day!!!

Post by BDR »

Today, we honor "America Jr.," and the accomplishments of great Canadians through history!

Hats off to the countless, influential "Great White North" musicians that inspired us all, such as Sabastian Bach, Paul Anka, Geddy Lee, Sarah McLaughlin, Bryan Adams, Nelly Furtado, Neil Young, Paul Shaffer, Robert Goulet, Corey Hart 8) , Mike Reno (yeah, that's right, the frontman from LOVERBOY), Jeff Healey, Shania Twain, Gordon Lightfoot, CHAD KROEGER!!!, Avril Lavigne, Guy Lombardo, Ann Murray, Gino Vanelli and a host of other legends who helped to shape the world of music!!!

To celebrate Canada Day, I encourage all to go on strike for the rest of the day! WE WANT SOME OF THAT INTERNET MONEY, GUY!!!

I'M NOT YOUR GUY, BUDDY!!!

I'M NOT YOUR BUDDY, FRIEND!!!

Take off, hoser ...

This is a website that features information about well known (and some lesser known) Canadian bands and musical artists. Click on the artist section and search alphabetically.

you know, Canadian bacon is pretty much just ham, which is bullshit, because when I order bacon, I want bacon, not ham.

If you go to Canada, they don't call it Canadian bacon. They call it either back bacon or peal bacon. However, yes, it is ham but is sure is tasty.

I just saw Gordon Lightfoot last weekend at Eisenhower in State College. It was a good show, but you can tell he's getting old... Sadly there is no power or bass left in his voice.

I may celebrate Canada Day this afternoon by grabbing a cold sixer of Moosehead and cranking some SNFU.

Oh yes, my friend. And whilst enjoying the Dankouver, we shall pay special homage to those who sacrificed their lives during the last strike.

VOIVOD

I have a bootleg cassette featuring Snake speaking in this twisted Canadian French dialect between songs. He sounds like Pepé Le Pew with no class.

Watch my SCTV video I have. I know it's named for the Second City, Chicago, but I believe it was filmed in Canada and most of the comedians on the show were Canuks. I will watch the McKenzie brothers drink some LeMats and eat dounuts while wearing their touks. Eh. When the SCTV show was running many believed it was funnier than Saturday Night Live.

Here is short skit from the show:
