Hey
I just got a Peavey 120 Watt Ultra 3 Channel Head! Only thing is it keeps blowing fuses! Do you all know of any Peavey Authorized Dealers or someone I can totally trust to look at and fix this amp! I got a great deal on it, thats why i bought it!

Ken Oyler (at Ford Music Store) is an EXCELENT service tech. Not that other places don't have good techs, but Fords are (as said) the Peavy dealer.

Well I went and got my Peavey Ultra 3 Head last night from Fords Music! They did an awesome job on fixing it! Apperently the previous owner was putting the wrong size fuses in to replace the original one that had blown! They told me you should never do that! Pls checked the whole amp over and fixed a few minor things ,that I didnt know was wrong! The thing sounds amazing, as this is my first Tube Amp, only took me 20 some years to get one! Better late than never right?
By the way the Price to fix it was awesome too! Didnt break me! I will definitely remember Fords and recommend them as well now!

i've never taken anything there, but i've never heard anything bad about them from anyone i've talked to. it's nice to local stores you can trust, like Guitars n Stuff in Vinco as well...

Yeah, I've taken many things to Ford's, and I'd probably be charged twice if not three times what I'm charged for labor if I took that stuff anywhere else. The only thing that sucks about Ford's is that you generally have to expect a piece to be there for about three weeks. Of course, that's because everyone takes their stuff there due to it both being affordable and quality service.

As Jason pointed out, Terry at Guitars 'n Stuff is also an excellent guy. He's the only one I'll let setup my basses. I've been underwhelmed by every setup I've ever had done until I started going to Guitars 'n Stuff.
