What topics are sure to piss off Rockpagers?
I've noticed that some topics on this message board spur very spirited conversations! What topics do you think are most likely to piss people off on this board?
I'll hit the obvious: Posts about what topics will piss people off.
What do you all think?

- Threads that don't have hot, naked women in them.
- Threads that were not posted while consuming beans.
- Any thread that Rob the Drummer posts in. That guy gives everyone the creeps.

"He's the electric horseman, you better back off!" - old sKool making a reference to the culturally relevant 1979 film.

I think that most people here are of the mind "If I might not be interested, I won't open it".
This is a wonderful little community we have here and for the most part we all realize that everyone is entitled to their opinion and we respect that person's right to have that opinion even though our's may differ. IMO we need all the different types of topics here on RP. When you are hanging out with your friends do you only discuss music??? Of course not. Sometimes you discuss music, sometimes politics, and sometimes you even discuss pissing in the shower. We're all friends here, so why would it be any different than if we were hanging out in person, knocking back a couple of cold ones??
ROCKPAGE JAM, Thurs night!

Okay everybody, admit it: you all looked at the thread about peeing in the shower. It's a provocative title for a thread. It made you go, "Whaaa?"
Look, it's not like Rockpage is a hallowed hall of learning, or bastion of music conservation... it's a website where musicians hang out. That's it. Sure, you actually do have lots of chances to learn, and we all devoted some chunk of our lives to music, but in the end, we're a community of friends, and friends talk about lots of different things when they hang out. None of it really pisses me off until somebody says something that would hurt. (Hurt as opposed to offend... if I offend you, I'm a musician, it's part of the job description.)
Muso's aren't so notorious for their ability to self-edit. Many of us have a need to be heard, and we want you to hear everything, hence the posts regarding political opinion that seem to cheese off the non-politicals. Many of us have the ability to self-edit, we just lack the desire. That's where I sit. When I'm busily typing a 6-paragraph response to the question, "What did you have for dinner?" I suppose I figure if it's boring or inane, the reader can hit the "back" button.
In short, Rockpage is still the overall best online music community I've ever seen (look at the Harrisburg site... it's a wasteland of teenyboppers and never-will-be's). I've been hopelessly addicted since it was a guestbook-styled one-page affair, and I don't see that changing.---->JMS
