I met Russ at my fitness center. He got into great shape and was an inspiration to others. He is also a drummer, so we had something in common and we've been friends since.

I can't remember when I actually met Bobby for the first time, but I had heard of him from some of my musician friends and they spoke highly of him and his playing. I saw him play alot back in the day and admired his power and sense of time. He had a cool looking kit too. He's become a great drummer and a great guy. :) Thanks for the compliment brutha, hope to jam with you again sometime soon!

I met Clint at a band practice in Tyke Rhodes basement. He'll have to elaborate on the story behind the story! LOL

I think I met Tim at a Backdraft show... of course I sat in, I usually do. :D I know I sat in with them at the Wing-Off a few months later, and the band broke up that night. (Hey, I must be so GOOD I scared 'em. )--->JMS

I met Johnny in the late-80s at the William Penn Inn (I'm pretty sure) as he was rocking the eff out.

... it was either there or at the radio station.

Dang. William Penn Inn. Remember walking in there for the first time during the
afternoon to book and all these old guys sitting around on folding chairs at folding
tables watching a stripper. Then...seeing the girl who was on next I was wondering
where I could find a folding chair to sit at a folding table.

ANYWAY! Wonder whatever came of Turk.

Oh...and I've never met BDR in person but have met his wife. She's very cool.

Finally someone I know... I met Dave on bandmix. Said something about needing a bassist... Figured I'd give it a try, after all it only usually has four strings and is VERY easy to play.. much easier than guitar..

I met Rob on Bandmix. Said something about needing a bassist...he figured he'd give
it a try. After all it only USUALLY has four strings and he makes it look VERY easy to
play...much easier than Didjeridu...

I'm having the same problem as StratoB. and Lisa, I've met quite a few in this thread, just not the previous poster. So, I will go one before the previous. :D

Esa (Lisa), I met her at a Beyond Reason show at Victory Lane.
She's one of the most awesome people I know...I want to be like her in my next life! (I'll never forget the ah, 'scuffle' you were involved in there on another night. :P Peeps, a warning: Do NOT tick her off!!! )

I met Booter back in the day when he was my fill in bus driver for #22 and #27. Bishop Carroll!!! He tried killing us several times (no lie). We strip tease looking at eachother (since we're neighbors now) through the facing windows... get drunk together...play pool on the same teams... and uh.. heckle each other's bands (okay.. jae's band and booter's band)...and I'm probably the only chick alive that get's away with calling him the "F" werd.

First of all, Donna... you rock.. I love you. Muah!!!

...I was double teamed...what else could i do than put her head into the side of the coffin. I doubt I will ever have aim like that again with a beer though. And the one girl almost cost me my eye. Buncha bytches. ::puffs up and flexes arms:: Never did have trouble in there after that. Man do I miss that place...

I met Rick when I was 14 at Music Emporium (big surprise!). I thought that he was the most mellow dude that I've ever met.

...to this day, I still think he is the most mellow dude that I've ever met. LOL
